God’s Love

Jesus loves me, this I know
For in God’s Word it tells me so.
It tells me of His wondrous love
And how He came from heaven above.
Because he came, We’ve been set free
Forgiveness, New Life, all for me
But I’ll never forget, the price He paid
To be hung on a cross, in a tomb then laid.
A short time later, in that tomb no more
Jesus had risen, and rewritten the Law.
The blood He shed, wiped out our sin
In heaven they’re waiting to welcome us in.
All that’s required, a few words from you
Accept Jesus Christ, that’s all you need do.
Now He’s your Saviour, He’s part of your life
We can ask Him to take, all our pain and strife.
Receive all His blessings, our gifts from Jesus
From happiness to Eternal life, it’s all offered to us.
Remember to praise, and thank him too
