God the Mother??? I need an Answer now!

2 years ago i heard a friend of mine had started believing in a strange doctrine. i did not have a chance to speak to him one-on-one till recently. (online, though)I found out that the church he goes to believes in God the "Mother". Their name is World Mission Society Church Of GOD. I just checked their website HIstory.... i tell you...It is terrible...

they claim to have braches all over the world according to their site. Find below some content from their website;

I need an Answer.. What is all this...? All i know - TRASH!

THERE IS ONE CHRIST... WHICH IS CHRIST JESUS. He is going to come back again. Everyone will see HIM that moment, nomatter where you will be. That is what he said. ***any other one IS NOT Christ...

Boanerges is right. This is definitely a cult that is teaching false doctrine and spreading deceit among it's members. I don't know your friends name but I will keep him in prayer also. Where two or more are gathered...well, you know the rest. Take this up with God and He will direct your path. Just be faithful in whatever He instructs you to do.

According to my NIV Study Bible, the "Jerusalem that is above" in Rabbinical teaching is the heavenly archtype that will be let down to earth during the Messianic period. In Galatians it refers to the Heavenly city of God in which Christ reigns and of which Christians are citizens, as opposed to present day Jerusalem.

Boanerges is right. Your friend is in a cult that is mixing rabbinical teaching (and whatever else) with Christianity and creating a toxic brew. Pray desperately for his deliverance!

I actually had 2 of these people (a guy and a girl) come to my door about a year ago. I had no idea what type of cult they were. I never asked and they never said. I just knew I had my Bible and an opportunity. We stood on my door step for about 15 minutes or so while I refuted everything they had to say about this "Holy Mother" of theirs. An example they gave was of kids in the park. They were like, "If you see kids in the park playing with their father, who do you know must exist somewhere? The mother!" Good grief! After about 5 minutes, I had started to direct my answers at the girl. The guy appeared to be entertaining me while not really listening but I could tell the girl was being affected as she was really taking it in. By the 15 minute mark, the guy saw this too. That is why it ended where it did. He cut me off abruptly and said they really had to get going but he would love to chat some more one on one. I have no idea what ever happened with them as I never heard from them again.
