  1. Give God the glory!
  2. Hi All,

I cant say thank you enough. This is such a great community. Thank you for your words of support and encouragement. Im praying to Him daily. I have a good feeling, deep down that He will rescue me from my troubles. I knwo I have to be patient and that it will cone, only in His time and his way. I'm getting through day by day, I admit it is hard and my anxiety may get the best of me at times. BUT I will not stop praying and I will not stop believing that he will rescue me. I know He will...

I'm just waiting for the day when I can come back here to this very thread and give you all the good news, to share my testimony.

  3. Amen brother, i am so exceedingly glad to hear that. As the body of christ we need to be here for each other not tear each other down. Just like Paul said I press on towards the upward call of God. God bless you brother and peace always be with you!

  5. Hi All,

I don't mean to bug anyone but if you can continue to keep me in your prayers. I would be really appreciate it.

I'm still praying and keeping my eyes on the Lord but my mom has started to sense that I'm going through something. I think she noticed a change in me but I just can give her any worry, so I denied that anything was bothering me. Ever since my problem started, I just havent been myself. I've been down and depressed.

    Please God, rescue me :(
  6. I am continuing to keep your situation in prayer.
  7. Thank you, Amadeus. God bless you.
  8. Hey @AwesomeJC

Just seen this thread. Not sure specifically what you're going through but God's Word, the bible is our primary method of knowing Him and His will. It gives us hope and assurance.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” -- 1 Peter‬ ‭5:6-11‬ ‭

  9. Thank you, Chad. Thank you.
Thanks to everyone here for your continued prayers.

Jesus, I trust you. I have faith that you will rescue me in your time. Walk with me Lord. Carry me through this dark tunnel. Please be my guiding light all the way through. Bring me back to those peaceful and happy times. Allow me to come here one day and share with everyone what a wonderful and merciful God you are. That you are full of grace. My king, please deliver me from this pain.

  11. I'm so depressed :(

With the holidays coming up, I feel extremely empty inside. I have am not feeling joy for anything. I can't even find any joy in the things I love anymore.

Lord, please clear my head. Please let me find peace. I want to feel your mercy and grace.
  12. @AwesomeJC Don't expect the rough road to get smooth before the end of the road. The end of it comes when your time here is finished. At the end of HIs, Jesus said, "It is finished". God may not require from you what was required of Jesus, but remember that Stephen [Acts 7:1-60] also had give up his natural life to the stones thrown at him even though he did nothing to deserve it.

God may give you a reprieve, a temporary stay from your sufferings, but it doesn't always happen that way. Trust Him anyway.

  13. You cant trust in feelings. Focus on the faith in the promises of scripture, read daily, perhaps a chapter of Psalms and a chapter of the new testament per day. Glad to pray for you.

What is it about the holidays that has you so empty? Are these days so different from others that rejoicing in one you can't seem to do on another?

Always remember that His love for you does not wane. It doesn't go from low to high like the tides. It's even keel and always at a level we can't barely comprehend because of its immensity! Amazing that it is so! Don't look at yourself and how you might find yourself at the moment, but how He sees you always as a treasured child of His!

When all else fails. Always remember He will not fail you, nor forsake you, and loves you dearly, always!

So if you must set aside for a time the things that you love doing then do so. Then spend that time with the Lord. For He then becomes your total focus. The holidays, things, will then become secondary and the time with Him will provide you the peace that you seem to be lacking at the moment.

    Praying for you.

  16. amadeus, brad, christ4ever, Emilia,

I am really thankful for posts, ongoing support and prayers.

Im trusting in Him even if at times the emotinal pain and heartaches is unbearable. I will continue to pray, read my bible and trust that he will provide relief and peace.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear in my previous post. I love the holidays and the season but with my current issue and depression, I'm not feeling the joy or excitement inside to enjoy them. Generally, the holidays are about happiness, good times, spending time with loved ones/family, celebrating Jesus on Christmas, etc. The issue that I'm facing involves family, so you could understand why I feel this way.

Ive been hoping for a miracle or a sign from God. Just anything to give me some assurance that everything will be ok, something to tell me not to worry, God's got this. I just dont want to end the year feeling like this. I feel like a shell with absolutely nothing inside. I know in God there's hope though

    Thank you all.

This was my devotional today. I thought of what you are going through at this time.

I'm glad that you said that in God there's hope. So very true. Too often our reliance is on our own senses. Trust that change in the situations, circumstances in your life right now will happen through God. God is spirit and it is by the Spirit that it will happen.

Here's that link to the devotional. I hope it helps:

    Mountains Turned to Plains

Praying that it will be so for you.
  18. God will NEVER leave you or forsake you EVER!! If we ever feel depressed, emotional, miserable & pain that is NOT God!! God is LOVE - God can not & will never be any part of misery. He is LOVE. Jesus said we can use HIS NAME to get Satan away from us. USE HIS NAME. God signed a blank check for US to cash for ANY amount & he will allow it to be cashed. God is not depression, sadness, misery, pain or confusion. Do not allow your human mind to misdirect you from Gods plan for you. God is NOT a yes man nor is he a pushover. HIS will NOT ours!! Trust in God without knowing & without feeling. He WILL bless you for your faith.
