Yes in the sense that He died for my sins long before I was born a human. No in that I was about 38 before I was let in on what God was doing through Jesus for me as well as others.Question for you. Were you always Saved? A simple yes or no will suffice.
No. As he is a created being, created by the Father. That is why I said the following:My full quote. So, that you can see the complete thought that I was trying to communicate to you. I put it this way, because I can only assume that the point you are trying to make is that our adversaries, are not God's. Is that correct? If so, I guess you can say in order to be an adversary you have to have a chance at winning. I don't see the devil having a chance against God, do you?
Thus we are in agreement on that issue. God has no enemies, but the cross of Christ does, as these are the enemies placed in your way to prevent you from attaining all that it boughtA war designed to mature us spiritually. Spiritual adversaries and a carnal mind. Both extremely potent enemies of ours but not Gods for it is by His design they exist.
for you.
You wouldn't like my answer, but you already know what it is.Do you know who those might be?
Romans 11:29 "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance."God draws you, but you have the choice to follow Him or not!
If you have been called of God He does not pull back even though one may squirm for years about leaving evil behind, He will stay faithful to His calling of you. God does not repent of His
calling of you.
And that condition is that the Father hath taught the one he drew. Again it is God who instigates the salvation of the soul in question.Notice that the verse after that speaks of the Father drawing those that come to Jesus, is conditional
"......Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me." We did not teach ourselves? Did we??
Good discussion, but it is a beat around the bush about self righteousness. But still a good discussion.
