Dear friends I would be so pleased if you could put me/us on your prayer list in the coming days.

I will be flying out to Ghana/Africa this coming weekend 17th Jan, along with 6 other A o G Ministers. I will be the elderly one now ....in the group.

We are attending a General Conference in the Northern area of the country. So it will be hard work, preaching, teaching, encouraging every day and numerous times....

We want to be a blessing....God said to Abraham "I will bless you......and you be a blessing". That is our desire...to bless, uplift, encourage, restore, take forward....in Jesus

Naturally we will be able to bless a small number, taking large amounts of coffee and tea, chocolate, and such treats.......and clothes and a £/$ or two.

We will land in Acra/Ghana at 8 p.m. we then have a 5 hour drive on African mud roads to our destination. The conference begins at 9 a.m. the following day.

It will not be a holiday....... But I am looking unto Jesus.....that human souls will be touched by His mighty power.

Please pray for me in this venture.

In His Love

Bless our friends, keep them safe and above all use them for Your glory Father. Open hearts to receive salvation, open eyes and ears to see and hear.
In Jesus Name, amen.
We will be awaiting a praise report Stephen!!

Lord, I pray for the safety of brother stephen, and his group,
that You bless their journey, and help them fill the empty hearts
of the people of Ghana. I pray also, that their journey be a
success, and that they come home, knowing they did Your will,
and that these people will no longer be alone, but will be filled
with Your love and Presence. Amen :]

Amen, praying in agreement.

Joining in prayer for you Bro. Stephen and your group.

Just this day been praying for missionaries around the globe that God may continue to use their lives to touch many souls for Christ. And I think you are already included with the bunch...:shade: Praise the Lord.

May the Lord strengthen and protect you and your company in that place. Praise God for the great opportunity to be His own vessel and channel of blessing!

Remembering you in prayer.

God be glorified! Amen

In Christ,

I herewith express my appreciation to you precious friends who upheld us in prayer as we went to visit the churches in Ghana.

We left England 10a.m. Tuesday morning 18th Jan. and arrived Kumasi Ghana 1.30 am Wednesday morning. Kumasi is the second largest city in Ghana, with 4 million folks, spread out over a vast land area.
The people are quite poor, but they are an industrious people. Everywhere we went, even as we drove along the African roads we were surrounded by lots of people with things to sell. Seemed to me that if any did not have something to sell, they were in the woods and fields farming nuts, fruit, or along the road-side actively making carpets, clothes, furniture, carvings etc. to sell, to all who passed by.

They welcomed us, and I am so delighted to say that we were a blessing to those dear people in so many ways, that was the whole point of the 'Mission'. Kumasi is enjoying a revival of Christianity at this time. We travelled along the same road for 4 days, the 10 minute journey taking 30mins. due to people and traffic throng, to the large church building, where the a.m and p.m. gatherings we being held.... I had to smile as I read the road-side adverts.

Glory of God Church....Royal House Church...Redemption House, Faith Ministry...Christian Outreach...All Power Belongs to Jesus, Fashion Centre...Wonderful Jesus Chop Box...True Christ Apostles Church...Church of Pentecost...Faith Fast Food...Living Waters Church...By His Grace Electrics...House of Power ministries...Gethsemene Prayer Camp...Sweet Jesus Supermarket....Infant Jesus Childrens Centre...Gods Power International Ltd......Showers of Blessing Hairdressing....Watch and Pray Chapel...and others, plus the ones we know so well Methodist, Roman Catholic, Anglican, and the sects.....this was over a stretch of no more than 7 miles.

Every other vehicle carried its message. Some just had a bible text. I remember one had Jn 3:12......I could not place it so bible in hand I looked it up.."If I have told you earthly things and you believed not, how will you believe if I tell you of heavenly things" MmMm.... So we had a smile as we travelled along the dusty roads.

But the worship in the meetings/gatherings was absolutely something to experience. Get a thousand or two Ghana'an Christians singing Gods praises, and wow....'electric' might be the best I can say, it was so powerful so dynamical.

We went to be a blessing....and without doubt we were...and it was a privilege......The mission was 'self-funded'...and I felt despite my 'tummy trouble' my £1500 was well spent.

That mentioned for some wonder who cover's the cost of such ventures......We travel under the banner of my local church, but each person is responsible for their own funding.

I hope to post some photo's soon

In His Love
