Sometimes it is not the Gospel but the way we present the Gospel that provokes the unsaved. Just give them the good news about Jesus Christ. If they reject it, then stop.

Telling someone outright they're going to hell won't work to reach that lost soul. You want to be relatable and show the Gospel the way Christ did Himself. It's not for us to judge where someone is going, nor our business. Our concern is to be rooted in love to help them know Jesus and be saved.

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted - 2 Timothy 3:12

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 5:10

Blessed are you when people hate you,
when they exclude you and insult you
and reject your name as evil,
because of the Son of Man. Luke 6:22

You also, cannot be the last call on if someone is going to hell or not. That is up to God, you have no say in whether that person is going to hell or not. Jesus says we should pray for those who persecute us, Luke 6:28, Matthew 5:44, and that we should be glad for persecution because great is our reward in Heaven, Matthew 5:11-12, Luke 6:22-23. Pray for him brother! Show him the love that Christ showed you!
