Genuine Love
In a world filled with war and chaos, is there genuine love in your heart for God and your fellow man? Or have the worries of life and the cares of this world wrung every drop of love from your heart? God's desire is to so fill you that your heart overflows in joy with love for your fellow man. Scripture promises that "Rivers of Living Water" will flow out from our souls. Well, in order for that to happen we first must allow God to fill our empty hearts with His Living Water. As we develop a complete lifestyle of passionate worship; as we daily hunger and thirst for His Righteousness; as we set ourselves to be continually filled with His Holy Spirit; then and only then will we have the spiritual reserves to pour out rivers of living water to those around us. Our joy is made complete in loving and blessing those near us. This is God's will for our lives.
So, if you are experiencing dryness of soul instead, then heed the principle of 2 Corinthians 9:6-7, "If you sow sparingly, then you will reap sparingly". In other words, quit testing the waters and just dive in! God blesses those who are SOS (Sold Out Saints). Jesus told us it is impossible to serve two masters, so make Christ your master and give him your all. God really doesn't need your money or your time or your talents, but he does want your heart... And in giving Him your heart He will eventually get all the rest, and in the process He will give back to you "pressed down shaken together and running over"! God be with you all...
