Genuine Community

How can we begin to form genuine community among believers? There has to be more to living this faith than Sunday, Wednesday, Sunday, etc. There has to be more to relationships within the church than superficial ones. There has to be a way to develop the depth of character between each other (brothers and sisters) that should characterize Christian love, Christian care, Christian involvement. Early Christianity had this unique quality - where has it gone? Why are so many Christians left alone and isolated only to find themselves longing for something that seems to no longer exist?

There is a perfect world and then there is this one- LOL.
Seriously though loneliness is one of the biggest problems especially inside the church. Some are to immature to care for others, some are to wrapped up in their own troubles and/or circles. Some just do not seem to get the point that it is the outcast and downtrodden that Jesus sought first.
Still there are some folks who have a real sense of Christian fellowship and communion with the saints.
These are observations and not condemnations as I believe that if you are seeing the need you are one of the ones Jesus is calling to love those brokenhearted.
