many people say that adam and eve is not the first people that are on earth and i truly believe that because........

if you look properly where did cain go and find his wife in the land of Nod (genesis 4:15)

in the beginning God made adam and He made eve from adam.
[B]Genesis 1.
26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth,
and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

The Bible is 100% accurate.

yes the bible is a 100% accurate true but i dont think that you are reading properly just read this you said that God create man yes, he did but he did not create adam and eve yet, you got to ask God for an understanding when you are reading . (genesis 2:5-25) when God speaks it comes into exstince? and Gos made man and woman before adam and eve.

Genesis.2.
Adam and Eve

4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created.
When the LORD God made the earth and the heavens- 5 and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the LORD God had not sent rain on the earth [c] and there was no man to work the ground, 6 but streams [d] came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground- 7 the LORD God formed the man [e] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. 9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10 A river watering the garden flowed from Eden; from there it was separated into four headwaters. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 (The gold of that land is good; aromatic resin [f] and onyx are also there.) 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush. [g] 14 The name of the third river is the Tigris; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."

18 The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."

19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds of the air and all the beasts of the field.
But for Adam [h] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib [j] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

23 The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called 'woman, [k] '
for she was taken out of man."

24 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

25 The man and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.

It does not say He made any man before adam and eve.

God bless  :rainbow: :rose:

"Did God create other people in addition to Adam and Ev

I found this out too.

Question: "Did God create other people in addition to Adam and Eve?"

Answer: There is no indication anywhere in the Bible that God created any other humans other than Adam and Eve. In Genesis 2 we read, “This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven. Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground. Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The LORD God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man whom He had formed… Then the LORD God said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.’ …So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man” (Genesis 2:4-8, 18, 21-22).

Notice that it says “there He placed the man whom He had formed.” Not the “men,” just the one “man.” And this man was apparently alone (v. 18) so God made a woman out of his rib to be his companion. All other human beings have descended from these two original people. The two main reasons why this question usually comes up are: (1) Cain's wife, and (2) the origin of the different races. For answer to these issues, please visit "Who was Cain's wife?" and "What is the origin of the different races?"

from gotquestions.org

Question: "Does the Bible say anything about a pre-Adamic race?"

Answer: The concept of a Pre-Adamic race is the idea that God created a race of humans who lived on the Earth before He created Adam, the first man. This hypothesis has been promoted by various scholars at various times throughout history. Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate (circa 331–363 AD) and Calvinist Theologian Isaac de La Peyrère (1596-1676) are two notable examples.

We will look at two popular facets of the Preadamite Hypothesis: the hypothesis as it was proposed by Isaac de La Peyrère, and the form which it takes in the “Gap Theory” (also known as the Ruin-Reconstruction interpretation). According to La Peyrère, God created the Gentiles on the sixth day when He said, “Let us make man in our image” (Genesis 1:26). He did not create the Jews until after the seventh day, His day of rest. At some point after the seventh day, God created Adam, the father of the Jews.

La Peyrère cited Scripture to support his hypothesis. Cain’s fear of being lynched, his marriage to an unknown woman and the fact that he founded a city (Genesis 4:14-17) are all interpreted as evidence that another race of men coexisted with Adam and his family.

La Peyrère subsequently reinterpreted other passages of Scripture in light of his peculiar understanding of the Genesis account. Consider a very familiar passage, Romans 5:12-14 (I’ve added bold emphasis to highlight a key phrase): “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.”

This passage is traditionally interpreted as meaning that death began with Adam’s sin and reigned unchecked among men (even among those who haven’t actually eaten the forbidden fruit, those who have sinned but not “in the likeness of the offense of Adam”) until the Law was given to Moses. La Peyrère interpreted this passage another way. According to La Peyrère, the Pre-Adamic Gentiles sinned against God, but in a manner less egregious than Adam (which is why Adam’s sin brought death while there’s didn’t). They merely sinned against God’s moral will. Adam sinned against His Law. Adam disobeyed God’s prohibition by eating the forbidden fruit. He broke what La Peyrère called the Law of Paradise. Thus, according to La Peyrère, the Pre-Adamic Gentiles were those who “had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam.”

I’m sure by now you can see how misinterpreting one or two passages of Scripture can lead to all kinds of warped perceptions. The Scriptural problems with La Peyrère’s interpretations are manifold.

First, Adam is called the “first man” (1 Corinthians 15:45). This is inconsistent with the idea that God created men before Adam. Second, according to La Peyrère the Gentiles were to live outside of the Garden of Eden while Adam enjoyed paradise (a privilege which came with the responsibility of obeying the Law of Paradise – not eating the forbidden fruit). Genesis 2:5-8 however says quite plainly that before God created “the man whom He had formed,” the very same man which He placed in the garden, there were no men upon the Earth to cultivate the ground. Third, God created Eve for Adam because he was alone, there was no one else like him around (“It is not good for the man to be alone… but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him” Genesis 2:18, 20). Fourth, Adam named his wife Eve “because she was the mother of all the living” (Genesis 3:20). The list goes on but these passages should suffice to refute La Peyrère’s misinterpretation.

As for Cain’s fear of being lynched, his marriage to an unknown woman and the fact that he founded a city (Genesis 4:14-17), Adam was almost 130 years old by the time that Cain killed Abel (Adam had Seth, his next son after Abel’s death, at about 130; Genesis 4:25; 5:3). And we know that Adam had sons and daughters (Genesis 5:3). At 130 he could have had grandkids and great-grandkids by the time that Cain killed Abel. Cain had plenty of family members to be afraid of after killing his brother.

He apparently married a family member (a necessity back then) at some point before Abel’s murder. It’s gross to us today but incest wasn’t outlawed by God until the Law of Moses. It may have been around that time that generations of degenerative genetic mutations began to take a toll on our DNA. God outlawed incest for our protection. It became (and remains) dangerous for close relatives to procreate because of shared genetic defects which become expressed in their children causing severe deformities and other problems.

As for Cain founding a city, if he lived to be the average age back then, he probably lived to be about 900 years old. By the time he died his family would have been a small city. If Cain had a kid at the age of 30, and his kid had a kid at the age of 30 and so on, Cain could have produced 30 generations by the time he died (30 generations times 30 years each equals 900 years).

The Ruin-Reconstruction interpretation takes a somewhat different approach to the Pre-Adamic race theory. According to the Gap Theory, an unspecified amount of time passed between Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 during which God created a Pre-Adamic race of men who lived upon the Earth until God destroyed them in judgment. Other extinct creatures, like the dinosaurs for example, are said to have also lived during this time. Afterwards God remodeled the Earth in six days. He created Adam on the sixth day and the rest is history. Some say that Satan’s fall occurred at some point during the ambiguous gap.

A “mistranslation” has contributed to the case for this misinterpretation. In the King James Version of the Bible, God says to Adam, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.” Proponents of this view emphasize the word “replenish.” They interpret the text as saying that Adam and Eve were to refill the Earth. They were to fill it again. The problem with this view is that, regardless of what the English says in our translations, the Hebrew word is male’ and it simply means to fill or to be full. Moreover, the English translators of the King James Version knew the word means to fill. They chose “replenish” because in 17th Century Elizabethan English “replenish” meant “to fill” (similar to how in modern English the word “replete” doesn’t mean to “abound again,” it simply means “abundant” or “abounding”). Language is not static, it’s dynamic. Words change meaning over time. Today “replenish” means “to fill again.” It didn’t mean the same thing in 17th Century England. Nearly all modern translations translate male’ as simply “fill” in the passage in question (Genesis 1:28).

Proponents of this view respond by pointing that God said to Noah after the flood, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill [male’] the earth” (Genesis 9:1). It is evident that Noah was meant to refill the Earth after the flood. Can’t we then interpret the same command to Adam to mean the exact same thing – that Adam was to repopulate the Earth after God’s judgment? The fact is that regardless what the condition of the planet was before Noah’s flood, God didn’t tell Noah to “refill” the Earth. He simply said to fill it. God chose the words He chose and no others. If He said “refill” that would have been something, but since He just said “fill” that argument falls flat.

The real problem with the Gap Theory is that it places human mortality (Pre-Adamic human mortality) before Adam’s sin. The Bible is quite clear that death entered in through Adam’s sin. “For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:21-22). Regardless of whether or not you believe in animal mortality before sin, the Bible is quite explicit about human mortality before Adam’s sin. There wasn’t any. To deny this is to deny a central Christian doctrine.

God bless you brother  :rainbow: :rose:

i tried my best to try an understand i got an idea of what you are talking about and what yo are trying to say but i got another question, why does not the bible record if adam had any kids or children? my friends are telling me that God speaks prophetic and that he spoke into the future for us. but to be honest i still dont see why would the bible not record the family of adam and his family and why would cain go into another land and go into the land of nod from the east of eden i guess we would never know and understand what is happening but i truly think that this is a mystery that needs to be figured out and we need to find a solution and quick hey iam not going against the bible i belive the bible hundred percent but i just cant get my self to understand that i trust in Jesus i Love him, i know that if it wont through him i would not have been here and that i really need to know why would that take place without our consent,.

thanks alot for all the information you got i am going to print it out and search it more, because i really want to know about that part of life that part of the bible is not going to change whether i belive in God or not.

more people before adam and eve

ladyloveJesus i thank you for all the reasearch you have done and what you went through to get it. but.... theres something that you are missing out and i think alot of people are also missing the imporatnt point.

i understand what you are saying, this is what my friends told me that the word of God that was spoken was not present but future tense and he also mentioned that God speaks prophetically. that to i also ubderstand but this is his answer he said , that when cain went out of the presence of the Lord he layed with his wife (Genesis 4:15-16) he said that he did not get a wife the sane time he went out of the Lord presence and at a later stage, so that tell us that adam and eve where the first person on the earth.

you see my friend, there is a point that they are not getting and its and important one they are justing reading (Genesis 2:4-25) why? because its the creation of adam and eve. let me show you something you see in Genesis the first chapter you find out that God was in the business of creating things and when created these things they al came to pass it became real right. it was not prophetic or anything of that sort.

lets go on, i said that when God spoke it came to pass right, so if you look at (Genesis 1:26-27) we find out that God made man and in vs 31 he saw that it was good, see if you see carefully that was the creation before adam and eve, God made man and women already.

do you know what? my greatest desire is 2 know the truth about God and everything else, but there is something that i must take into consideration, and that there are truths and there are also facts about the word of God, the bible says this in (Jeremhiah 33:3) God will show us great and unsearchable things, things we do not even know about, and i beleive that these things are been reaveled to me coz it looks like no one understands me.

you see God created man with word of mouth and it came to pass (Genesis 1:27) and in (Genesis 2:4-25) he formed man and breadthe life into him and when he did that he put man into the garden of eden. so when man sinned he was removed out of the garden, you see the garden of eden must have been a special place because God only put adam and eve and when they had fallen he put no other man there (Genesis 3:23-24)

so man was banned from the garden of eden he could no longer enter because he fell, God created the garden of eden for adam and eve too look after it, but they failed to do that.

lets go back into (Genesis 1:26-27) he made man already and how i know that was because the bible says "THEN" that word is an adverb of time i looked in the dictonary it means at that time, (present moment) so man was on the earth already he madde them. that cannot be prophetic because he said that it was good he also gave them dominion.

a man once told me that there was more to the bible that some of the words have been taken out, you see i am not trying to confuse anyone but all i am doing is trying to understand, many people read the the bible but they dont search really, i want to become a pastor, i am not trying to change what man believs in but the only thing that i am trying to do is find out the real truth please dont get me wrong.

lets go back he gave them dominion not yet adam and eve because they where not formed yet, so man was already walking on the earth, but the bible does not make any record of, so when adam and eve where banished they went of the special place (garden of eden) into a land and on this land there were also other men & female (Genesis 2:10-14) so there was more lands and the men and women God created was in that land.

so when cain also sinned he was bannished, adam and eve could not of had any daughters because, i choose to beleive that God is not stupid to do something like taht and if he did that means cain slet with his sister and made children from her, and theymade children from her children and their brothers and sisters had children also, so that tells us its incest and incest is sin, i guess the people did not know that, so david killed is brothers and sisters, but he did not even know that, because if adam and eve where the first people on earth then ladyloveJesus you are my sister or cousin, and thats wrong because, i will say it again that God is not stupid, there must have been another type pf people God has created.

so cain found a wife because there was already men and women on the earth how else could he have found a wife, it could not be his sister because can you magine how old was he? he must of been big right, and in (Genesis 5:3-4) it only records that adam and eve had more sons and daughters. so there is no way cain was with his sister or slept with her and made children. you see there was more people on earth God had created before adam and eve, so this the only infomation that i can find in the bible about the creation of adam and eve this i did not get it from any other man but God has showed me this, but i had to search the i also urge you to search the bible.

you mention in (Romans 5:12-14) sin by one man yes and that man was adam and the other did not sin

thanks alot for you patients

Alistair, unlike LadylovesJesus, I lack the patience and skill to do loads of research.

I can tell you, however, that these other thoughts, questions, and "semi-facts" that you are finding are false conclusions.

The Bible is the Word of God. No one was created before Adam and Eve. If there had been humans created before Adam and Eve, it would have been recorded in the Word of God. That is too important of a fact to be left out. Granted, God is mysterious and some things we will not know until we enter heaven and ask questions.

However....Adam was the first man and Eve was the first woman.

And Jesus wasn't married, either. I'm getting tired of people saying Jesus was married and had a family. The Bible would not have left out such a key element. Jesus' family....is us....the Believers in Him.

many people say that adam and eve is not the first people that are on earth and i truly believe that because........

if you look properly where did cain go and find his wife in the land of Nod (genesis 4:15)

Why do you even care what "many people" say? Did they write the bible? Are they the Holy Spirit providing the truth? You claim what many people say, THEN you ask a question about the same thing?

yes the bible is a 100% accurate true but i dont think that you are reading properly just read this you said that God create man yes, he did but he did not create adam and eve yet, you got to ask God for an understanding when you are reading . (genesis 2:5-25) when God speaks it comes into exstince? and Gos made man and woman before adam and eve.

What does this say?

Genesis 1:26-27

26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, [a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.

That would be Adam and Eve, remember the first who sinned? Before you claim others have mis-read, realize you are the one that is not studying correctly but your the one going by what "many have said". Why bother accusing others of misreading when YOU are the one asking a question here? That makes no sense whatsoever and shows a lack of humility and a sign of bad motives.

You cannot and will not get the Truth from GOD revealed to you unless you submit to Him (and not "many others") and humble yourself. Drop SELF (ie., "i choose to believe" this and that) and listen to Him instead.
