Future generations?

I’m not sure if any of you watch or pay attention the Graham family but they recently wrote a book called Jesus followers and they are wanting to be for future generations. Do you think there will be future generations though?

We don't know.

It's good to pray and work with a mind to future generations -- and if Jesus returns imminently we can be assured that none of our efforts will be wasted.

Question: Even after Jesus returns, and even after the millennial reign, and even after the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven...

Why would there not be future generations? For example...

Rev 20:2; And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
Rev 20:3; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

So Satan will be locked away for 1,000 years after Jesus returns.

Rev 20:7; When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,
Rev 20:8; and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

When he (Satan) is released he will gather up an army "like the sand of the seashore". Who are these people and where did they come from? Are these saved saints? Or are they new generation(s).

Let's move forward to when the New Jerusalem comes down... This doesn't happen until the current Heaven and Earth pass away.

Rev 21:1; Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.
Rev 21:2; And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

Obviously this hasn't happened yet, as the current Earth is still here.

Rev 22:14; Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15; Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

Who are these people outside the gates of the New Jerusalem (on the new Earth) who are not allowed to enter? Are they saints that have turned away from God? Or are they new generation(s).

Is there any scripture that says generations of men will cease?
