Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass. Joshua 21:45 NKJV
God is a promise maker and a promise keeper. He made you and promised never to leave you. He saved you and keeps His promise by never letting you go.
Today’s verse makes a remarkable claim—namely, that God kept every one of His many promises to the people of Israel. That is an overarching theme throughout the rest of the Bible too—that God keeps all of His promises.
God promises to bless you and to reveal good and helpful plans for you. Is there an area in your life where you need Him to do something or provide something for you? Are you comfortable enough and secure enough in His love to tell Him what you need?
Don’t forget that God has promised to take care of you. He is looking at you right now and making great plans to satisfy you so completely that you won’t have a reason to feel anxious about anything. Trust Him and take Him at His word. Live unshakably, knowing that when God makes a promise, He keeps it—always.
Prayer: God, thank You for Your unfailing love. Thank You for promising to be with me always and to take care of all my needs. Help me to trust that You keep all Your promises.
