For this is a prayer, that is "Imperative" for every, "Child of The Living GOD" everyday! But not for a lot of "Christians". For we are "compel" by The Spirit of GOD, it is in "engraved" into our hearts, to do so, Before the Foundations of The COSMOS" , It is liken to, a person that takes a drink of water within the workings of the Day! For we do not have to act like the "Sons of GOD" because that is who we are!
So Jesus told them, “When you pray, say:
(Luke 11)ESV The Gospel According to Dr. Luke
‘Father, hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.’ ”
But , Oh , how I, do like , "Matthew's" presentation, who is a eye witness. who heard Him with his own ears.
(Matthew 6)ESV
“And when YOU pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when YOU pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. DO NOT be like them, for YOUR Father knows what you need before you ask him. Pray then like this: [It Is A COMMAND not an Example, It is "Marching orders from Your LORD"]
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil."
For We, "The SONS of The Living GOD" knows what we are commanded to do! Because of who we are! We are not counterfeits! For we are the real Deal! Who have been planted on this earth as "Pilgrims" Traveling Through, to another LAND, A CITY that is not made by the hands of a man. And That Builder is GOD!
The reason why, We forgive, it is Because, Who we are! For we are "The Sons of GOD" and we cannot do no other. But be, who we are.
