What does the Word of God mean to us? How much of the Word do we actually put into practice? Do we view the Word of God as final authority in our lives? How much time do we spend in the Word and listening to godly teaching?

Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
May your search for wisdom be a profitable one!

The word of God is my road map through this life. It is my radar and chart plotter when life seems foggy and it is my instrament pannel when life seems cloudy. It is everything to me and YES I am learning to make His written word first place and final authority in ever single situation of every single day. Not that I have perfected this yet but I am so much more richly blessed in this area then I was this time last year !! I strive to draw closer to Him each and every day and believing to get more perfected in this area every single day He gives me to live.

As for me I believe every Word written in scripture even if it goes contrary to my logical minds thinking. Eventually the mind goes along with mans heart and agrees in everything. For years I have spent putting the Word of God into my heart. When times of trouble come or when ever I read a post on this forum. the Holy Spirit within brings to my remembrance the Word stored within. The things I post on this or any other forum comes directly from my heart. The Word is my life. It is the only thing that gives me peace, and great joy every minute of every day. I just purchased a new "ESV" Bible, and I can not wait to get it. I own more Bibles than any man should have, but I love the Word of God, and can not get enough of it.
