Well I'm going to be extremely rude and say that I love the best band on earth. They are called Tree 63, it's a South African band (where I'm from)
If you guys want some great alternative, edgy rock type, totally can hear every single word, import an album, wherever you are!

My favorite song of theirs is Sacrifice, some of the Lyrics below:

It's all for you Father, it's all for you.
I live for you Father, I'd die for you!

Two of my favorite songs are:

1) I Can Only Imagine by Mercy Me and
2) Jesus, Take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood

hey teraside.... i like tree 63. I heard their version of "Blessed be Your name".... which is actually a Matt Redmann song.I think tree 63 did is so well. The guitar works are good and they've focussed on the whole feeling of the song. Too good. Haven't heard much of other Tree 63 songs.

My favorite band is....PETRA.. I don't how many times i keep posting in TJ about PETRA. Man!!! They are the best. Lyrically....and musically. Totally Christian.

Favorite songs..... I like all petra songs. Check out their following albums.

Although my favorite song changes pretty much daily, right now I would have to say my favorite song is Press On by Selah. I listen to it everyday before I go to dialysis. It helps me remember what it's all about right now. Just thought I'd share that little tidbit about myself. God bless

I like 'I can Only Imagine' by Mercy Me

At the moment I really like Chris Rice - 'clumsy', just describes me and it is a lovely song

chorus
I get so clumsy
I get so foolish
I get so stupid
And then I feel so useless
But you're saying you love me
And you're still gonna hold me
And that you wanna be near me
'cause you're still makin' me holy
you're still makin' me holy, yeah.

 Calluna

I'm more into Classical (or Western Art) Music, but I do have a favourite hymn, which a lot of you will probably know. The words were written by Samuel Crossmann in 1664, and contain a beautiful expression of the love of our saviour, in the context of his crucifixion (and resurrection). It can be sung to several tunes, but my favourite of these is the tune which John Ireland wrote for this hymn in 1918, and the tune is consequently known as Love Unknown.

I've only put the first and last verses here, but there are five others.

My song is love unknown,
My Saviour’s love to me;
Love to the loveless shown,
That they might lovely be.
O who am I, that for my sake,
My Lord should take frail flesh and die?

Here might I stay and sing,
No story so divine;
Never was love, dear King!
Never was grief like Thine.
This is my Friend, in Whose sweet praise
I all my days could gladly spend.

dc talk

I really like all the music you all have selected but I am a Dc Talk fan I think their music is really powerful and they really know how to witness bluntly without affending people!!!
