Scripture is out of context.....Daniel...a text without a context is a pretext...a lie.
The Context is: the Witness of Divine Wisdom, Testifying that She was there, when He drew the circle on the face of the deep. When He created the world.
-She says it is a circle, that is the witness of the LORD that was there and saw it. You can say it is out of context, but that doesn't make it out of context. You can say it isn't a circle, but the witness of God is greater.

A long time ago during my astrophysics phase, I read an article stating that stars are born within a cloud of water. Wish I had kept the article, but too many piles of papers. Of course that was before the (ahem) internet.

Do not make the error of thinking that English words directly correspond to Hebrew words.
H2329 (Chuwg) can also mean "circuit" to indicate the orbit of planets.

'Circle' means circuit, or vault: that is as far as one can see, around or above (see Job 22:14 & Proverbs 8:27)

Confusion reigns in the world, with misinformation and rumour etc., and the enemy of our souls creates the same confusion within the believing community. With so much dispute and vain reasoning. It is sad, but with the end approaching, it is not unexpected, for God has warned us of an increase in Satanic activity, hasn't He. We must stay our minds upon our God, and rejoice in His certainties.
Praise God! That His will, will be done, His word will accomplish what He purposes, regardless of all this.

Yes, a circuit is a circumference, the line around the circle. A circle includes the area inbetween, a flat two dimentional circle.
Yes, the flat horizon around the earth, which is a circuit or circumference, which is a flat two dimentional circle.

If you mean the line curves around the circle, yes, like a circumference. The result is a two dimentional circle inbetween that line, drawn on the face of the deep, like a compass draws a "cuved line" or circumference on a flat two dimentional surface.

Personally, I think it's more a lack of education along with an inability to think, although Jesus thought it would be a lack of belief. Yet what can one believe if one cannot think straight? Both Belief (Faith) and Reason are tools to achieve the same goals - Truth.
