This is the promise that He has promised us; eternal life
(1 John 2:25)
It is the desire of the Lord that we should spend eternity with Him. The Bible says, “This is the promise that He has promised us; eternal life” (1 John 2:25). So, when we follow the Lord, He shall lead us into eternal life. "And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life" (Matthew 25:46).
How does the Lord lead us into Eternal life?
The Lord Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life. He came down to earth and became a sacrifice for our sins on the cross.
In Romans 6:22,"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, You have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life"
The Lord sets us free from sin because he conquered satan and his hosts at the cross and stripped them of their power. Further, the Bible says, “…having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
When we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ that He died for our sins, He makes us righteous by His grace and removes sinful thoughts, sinful acts… the very root of sin from our lives. He will cleanse us of all our unrighteousness and makes us holy.
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and He shall make you righteous by His grace. He will cleanse you of all your unrighteousness. He will make your sins white as snow however like scarlet they maybe (Isaiah 1:18). Holdfast to the Lord and follow His ways. He will answer your prayers and do the desired miracle in your life. The Lord will bless you and lead you to eternal life.
