READ: PSALM 119:9-16

I don't like ants. Any kind. Most especially when they get into my food. I fixed up my room lately, making sure everything was neat. I always have a glass of water in my table every night so that when I suddenly wake up and need one, it'll be just around. But what bothers me is most of the times ants get there first. Now, I dont know much about why they like water. But I did a research on how to avoid them. I found out about using a particular chalk in their trail, because ants dont like things sticking in their feet, I bought one and tracked their trail. For several days I found no ants at all in my water. And it made me very happy. But suddenly one day, they found another track to get into my table! It freaked me out, I have to use the chalk again and tracked them. But this particular situation showed me something. Persistence... of our enemies.

Just when we thought we avoided a particular sin, it will come crashing down on us. Finding different ways to get to us. Knowing what we do and how to get us. And then we fall into the depressing repeated sin and hopelessness.

David did recommend things to keep this from happening.

1. Seek God's will.
2. Always depend on God.
3. Keep God's commands in our hearts.

Those ants could be persistent, but I just found out that I could feed them corn meal that they will think as food, feast on it, but they wont be able to digest them. So, it will eventually kill them.

Feast on God's word, the enemy can't digest it.

if some time you run out of chalk, i use cinnamon in my garden as i dont like chemical treatments. but you are right they came back today(it rained last night). they was gone for about 2 to 3 weeks. will give corn meal a shot.

edit part: you may have just saved one of my pepper plants as they have made a nest around the roots. thanks.
