Earlier this morning the Lord had me write a devotional by the title of “God’s Word will Not Return Empty.” And then He encouraged me to record a video presentation of the writing, but with a different title, “Encouragement for The Discouraged,” because that was also a central theme in the message. Usually these are combined together in one writing, but I felt today that they were to be separate, each with a slightly different focus, but still with the same message. I hope you will find encouragement in this video today.
So, if God has called you to His service, and if He has gifted you with the gift of writing or speaking or singing or teaching, don’t “throw in the towel” (give up) just because it appears you are getting few to no responses. Pray for guidance and direction from the Lord to make certain you are in the will of God, doing what He has called you to do, speaking His truths. Then trust Him with the results, all in His timing. For this isn’t about us. And this isn’t about people liking us. This is about us doing God’s will, resting in Him, then trusting Him with the results. His Word will not return empty! Amen!
