Most mothers seem to consider baby monitors a reassuring thing in their infants' rooms. Now, I said most because I once heard a story about a mother whose baby monitor was acting up. After she tucked her baby in for his midday nap in the upstairs nursery, she went downstairs and immediately heard a very loud noise over the baby monitor. It was like as if a stampede was happening in the nursery. As fast a she could, she ran upstairs, to see that her baby was fast asleep. It turns out that the baby monitor was tracking the signal of another baby monitor. So much for the generation of technology! Although you can't always rely on technology, you can always rely on God. El Roi, a God so watchful that he is said to note when even the smallest sparrow falls to the ground. This God watches you everyday and night, whether or not you know of his presence. Now, most mothers seem to consider baby monitors as a reassuring thing for knowing that their infants are safe. I, on the other hand, seem to know that God's watching over you and me is the most reassuring thing known to man. Don't you? Aware that you may find yourself in desolate places in life, God will always being watching over you. He will always help you in your time of need. He will provide whatever you need, to face the future. Be thankful that he is a God who watches and is all knowing.

She (Hagar) gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: "You are the God who sees me." That's why the well was called Beer Lahai Roi (the "well of the Living One who sees me") [Genesis 16: 13-14]
