In Jn 10:7

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep!

The words verily verily means amen amen something very true and solemn is to be said here, and He's the One saying it.

I am the door of the Sheep!

Wonderful Scripture (John 10:7) in front of us (all Scripture is!)

A quick snippet from Charles Ellicott's commentary:
I am the door of the sheep.--Taking these words in connection with John 10:1-2, they seem to mean not "the door for the sheep," but "the door to the sheep," "the door into the sheep-fold." Our Lord returns to the words, and explains them more fully, in John 10:9.

If we look we see that Jesus spoke the words in John 10:7 as the hearers did not understand what He meant as written in John 10:1-2 and then on in verse 9 He explains more in order for His listeners to understand what He meant by 'door'.

Let us read it together from John 10:1-19 and get a clearer understanding of this Scripture:
AMEN, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers. This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what he spoke to them.

Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not. I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep: And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know me. As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep. And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd. Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No man taketh it away from me: but I lay it down of myself, and I have power to lay it down: and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
A dissension rose again among the Jews for these words.

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.

Come to Him, our Shepherd, the Door, the Gate, The Way the Truth and the Life, Saviour, Lord and King and live.

Your false statement was saying that one becomes a Sheep once they're born again in Christ. Thats not scripture!

Well, could you please explain how sheep are created?...Born Again = Sheep ! Not Born Again = Goats!
John 10:1-6 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” ...

may I add that when Jesus was speaking these words,, the people He was addressing at least included the Pharisees, if not directly to them. It is quite a lead up to these Scriptures about Jesus being the door. The point is, that Jesus was speaking to people who knew the Old Testament as we call it, the Scriptures, as the New Testament had not at that time been written, for fairly obvious reasons.

These people knew about the Psalms, in fact most of them knew them like you might know your phone number. They also knew the books of the Prophets, in fact there wasn't much they didn't know in Scripture.
Here was this man who had healed a man who had been blind from birth now making these statements that they fully recognised as being referencing the Scripture.
For instance, they knew about King David. It was, after all, through David that the Messiah was to come. What faith David had. Remember he did not have the New Testament as we do, and the advantage of reading the words of Jesus in John 10 but David proclaimed,..

{A Psalm of David.} The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23

So when Jesus spoke these words, His audience understood the ramifications, they knew what He was talking about and they didn't like it and there came a division among the Jews, because of these words. Jesus did not say He was the door for our benefit as such, although all Scripture is for our benefit also, neither was he directing us or them to make a new doctrine from some of these words. He was addressing the people who knew that a Messiah was coming and as I said before, if we read the verses before John 10-7 we can get a truer understanding of what and why He was saying what He said about Himself in this manner with this parable (see John 10:6)

let's read it together, there is a lot in it that we can learn from!

Then again called they [the Pharisees] the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man [referring to Jesus] is a sinner.
He [the man who had been blind] answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
He answered them,
I have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.
We know that God spake unto Moses: as for this fellow, we know not from whence he is.

The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.
Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
If this man were not of God, he could do nothing.

They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, "Dost thou believe on the Son of God?"
He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, "Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee."

38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

And Jesus said, "For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind."
And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?
Jesus said unto them, "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth." John 9:24-41

The door of the Sheep speaks particular to and of the Sheep Jn 10:7-9 and unfortunately all men are not Christ's Sheep !

Else why would Christ say of these men ye are not of my Sheep ? Jn 10:26

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. Also pay close to attention to Jesus words, He gives the reason as to why they dont believe, because they are not of His Sheep, which simply means one has to already be a Sheep in order to believe, and not as its wrongly stated by many, you must first believe to become a Sheep of Christ !

You seem to have overlooked some Scripture, again.
for example:
But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep John 10:2

A little understanding about shepherds, sheep and sheepfolds may be in order before you make such claims. Also a full understanding of the gospel is in order for you and all of us.

Jesus made it quite clear that those who do not listen to His words and choose to not believe Him were not His sheep. Scripture testifies to this, through and through. They are condemned already because they refuse Him Whom the Father has sent.
It is not His will that any perish.

there is a word that sheds a bit of light on this refusal to believe:

apeítheia(from 1 /A "not" and 3982 /peíthō, "persuaded") – properly, someone not persuaded, referring to their willful unbelief, i.e. the refusal to be convinced by God's voice. This is the core-meaning of the entire word-family: (apeítheia), (apeithéō), (apeithḗs). All these cognates focus on man's decision to reject God's offers of faith, i.e. refusal to be persuaded in their heart concerning obeying His will (Word).
Definition: willful unbelief, obstinacy, disobedience.
we see one example of this in Hebrews 4:6
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Matthew 23:37
