Look into the distance
Far over there
See appearing before your eyes
Dolphins in the air
Graceful as the dancer
Performers of the sea
Standing at my viewpoint
None of them see me
There is a certain wonder
They seem to know much more
They command a solemn peacefulness
Creatures without war
Dwelling in the silence
Of the ocean waves
Ever seeing, ever watching
Through the water’s staves
I look intently closer
Perfection in their way
Complete design reflection
Beckons me today
There is a “far-away feel" that seems to go with the distance between man and God. It is a feeling that says, “Far away there it a peaceful place…a place where everything is in order, where everything is right.” I think before I knew Jesus, I was dreaming of heaven and didn’t know it!
