Hi David777,
As I read through the doctrines a few time there was something to me that was missing and not put in there and that one thing is is this....
Jesus is the Son of God...It says Jesus is God, but didn't mention Him as being the Son of God. This is one of the most important parts of the doctrine to me...because Jesus became God's perfect plan for salvation for each and everyone of us and this plan could only be carried out by The Son of God and noone else.
John 3:16-17 For God so Loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Matthew16:13-17 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I , The Son of Man, am?" So they said " Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah and others Jeremiah or oneof the prophets." He said to them," But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, " You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus answered and said to him, " Blessed are you Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
Luke1:34-35 Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?" And the angel answered and said to her, the Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore also, that Holy One who is to be born will called The Son of God.
