Death to sin, aliveto righteousness!

1Pe 2:24 He Himself bore our sins in Hisown body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; bywhose stripes you were healed.
How we perceive the death of Christ onthe cross, will have profound effects of how we live and act as a follower ofJesus Christ! What is being taught today is Christ bore all our sins on thecross, past, present and future, it’s a done deal, we are free and clear, nothing more to do, except try to sin less than those of the world, and bewilling to repent and stop sinning.
But it’s all just a suggestion orformality to them, as who could possible stop sinning, and totally obeys God inour sin diseased bodies, we inherited from Adam?
This again makes the death of Christpowerless to those who have bought into the saved IN sin lie, along with theborn sinner cop out being sold by millions today.
But as the scripture clearly saysabove, Jesus bore our past sins on the cross, Rom 3:25 whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faithin His blood, to declare His righteousness through the passing by of the sinsthat had taken place before,(previous) in the forbearance of God; Jesus paid a high price to forgive out past sins, which comesonly to the repentant sinner, who has gone through a season of godly sorrow, 2Co 7:10 For the grief(godly sorrow) according to God worksrepentance to salvation, not to be regretted, but the grief of the world worksout death.
And then has come to an obedient faithin love, purity and righteousness.
Now the old man(flesh) must be put todeath with Christ, Gal 2:20 I have beencrucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. Andthat life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, wholoved me and gave Himself on my behalf. thus we now live a life of righteousness and purity of heart, notsinless perfection as those in the system will accuse us of teaching, but alife of purity, obedience, and diligence to stay pure, and separated from theworld. 2Co 6:15 And what agreement does Christhave with Belial? Or what part does a believer have with an unbeliever?
2Co 6:16 And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you arethe temple of the living God, as God has said, "I will dwell in them andwalk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
2Co 6:17 Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you.

Jesus death was way more than asubstitution, or cover for the sins of mankind as most teach today, making Hislife and death more of a provision you accept or receive, place it into youraccount, and use it to remain worldly and vile because it is finished, all isdone nothing more to do, but trust in the finished work of Christ.
But this so called provision flies inthe face of truth in scripture, that says those who have truly repented, andhave been quickened by the holy spirit, or made alive, Act 3:19 Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may beblotted out, when the times of refreshing(quickening) shall come from thepresence of the Lord. are now pure, andundefiled, broken and now a willing and cleansed vessel, ready to grow inrighteousness, and heart purity, not sinning less and less, as most teach.
The sin stops in repentance, the heartis made pure in repentance, the clearing and cleansing takes place inrepentance, 2 Corinthians 7-11,before mercy can be granted, this repentanceprepares the heart to receive the holy spirit, but only if the repentance isgenuine, and complete.
Jesus came NOT to take our place andpunishment, but to heal us with His stripes, or His death, by putting to deaththe corrupting influence of sin in our lives, bringing us out of the darknessinto the light, and being our example to follow, cleansed and purged of allvile sins, dead to sin and alive to Him, who has the power to cleans us of allpast sins, and give us great strength and courage to walk in holiness andpurity, putting to death the deeds of the (body) flesh once and for all, a donedeal, set free from the bondage's and corrupting influences of sin and death. Act 26:18 in order to open their eyes so that they may turn fromdarkness to light, and from the authority(power) of Satan to God, so that theymay receive remission(forgiveness) of sins and an inheritance among those whoare sanctified by faith in Me.Sin must die first(in Christ) in order to become a slave of righteousness!
