I don't claim to be a prophet. But there are verses in the Bible I run across from time to time that cause me to wonder...

Dan 11:14; “Now in those times many will rise up against the king of the South; the violent ones among your people will also lift themselves up in order to fulfill the vision, but they will fall down.
Dan 11:15; Then the king of the North will come, cast up a siege ramp and capture a well-fortified city; and the forces of the South will not stand their ground, not even their choicest troops, for there will be no strength to make a stand.
Dan 11:16; But he who comes against him will do as he pleases, and no one will be able to withstand him; he will also stay for a time in the Beautiful Land, with destruction in his hand.
Dan 11:17; He will set his face to come with the power of his whole kingdom, bringing with him a proposal of peace which he will put into effect; he will also give him the daughter of women to ruin it. But she will not take a stand for him or be on his side.
Dan 11:18; Then he will turn his face to the coastlands and capture many. But a commander will put a stop to his scorn against him; moreover, he will repay him for his scorn.
Dan 11:19; So he will turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land, but he will stumble and fall and be found no more.

There is a lot of speculation about who the king of the north and the king of the south are. The "Beautiful Land" is typically Israel (Canaan) but could be another country.
But someone (the beast if you believe this coincides with Revelation) will come against them and do whatever he pleases.
He will bring forth a proposal of peace. I have to admit Trump peace talks in the middle East are currently further along than anyone else in recent history. ... what if?....

But then we have a verse about he will give "him" (the king of the North) a daughter of women to ruin it.
See what happens when you put a women in charge! (Now I'm in trouble, just kidding) but on a more serious note, some people thought this was Hillary... ... but what if... if Biden wins, could this be Kamala?

.. to be continued ..

I find it wise to base our speculations on presidents and such people in charge over peoples on actions past and present of said person. That being said, Trump is not a politician, because unlike all of them, they make promises that they either have no power to make come true, or had no intention of trying to make them come true. This president has not only tried his best to do what he promised, but he has accomplished a lot of it. On top of that, a party that is simply much more corrupt than the republicans (although they arent all that good themselves), hates the man more than any opposing party president of the past, tells me he must be doing good things, things the evil people spoken of in scripture would be unlikely to do. Now thats purely from a logical perspective, and man's logic is much to be desired. But I will wait on actions showing the man is evil before I would declare him so.

This president released thousands of children at the mexican border a couple days ago.

How many of them have already been abducted? How many of them will be abused, and tortured? How many will survive? How many of them will curse their lives, and our God, because of fools in power? How many of them will be counted worthy, not because of their birthplace, but for the truth we all know: they are living, breathing souls, whom God ordained to come into the land of the living. Were it not so, neither would they breath. My birthright has already shown me that these children, who are greater than me, are considered less, and in my eyes this is evil.

The Lord that I know sees children as the greatest in the kingdom--whether of heaven, or of the earth, this is still the truth and always has been.

I could have been there. My brothers, my mother--even anyone at all that I have ever seen could have been right there.

He isn't perfect to be sure. But at least he is against abortion and sex-trafficking, things the other side seems to be OK with.
At least he's trying to stop the violence, instead of promoting it.

from what I understand. its actually Trumps son in law who is doing all the ground work and the one who put the deal togeather,

What is a leader that doesn't consider the lives of children to be the highest priority in any congregation?

Would any such leader then consider anyone at all to even have a priority? Indeed, any such leader is blind--we can already see the worst of such leaders in our own records of history, and the carnage that follows in loveless paths.

If I put others before me, it also means to receive those things that are least for the least considered of all.

I would hope God would be a higher priority.
But does this go for unborn children as well? If not, then it is simply hypocrisy.
Does this go for children in sex-trafficking as well?

I hadn't heard anything about the release of those thousands of children at the Mexican border. Obviously there was a reason for that. There had been quite a commotion about lots of kids without parents being held , trying to get them with adults. What were We supposed to do with all those kids? Apparently their parents wanted a better life for them here in This country? What about their own countries' leadership? How is This system supposed to care for all those kids. And lots of those 'kids' aren't innocent kids like our kids would be. I just looked it up. One of the situations being cited was a lady who sent her son to U.S. to be with his uncle to escape the abusive father back in Honduras -- his mother had left her abusive husband and she was afraid if sent back -- the man would kill her / her son. They are sending back hundreds of kids -- don't blame them -- all the disease being spread -- who's supposed to take care of them? What about doing something about countries like Honduras -- Their leadership. Our being so nice to everyone from other countries has Got to Stop. Besides Where are all these kids supposed to be Going? All the wild fires that are destroying homes -- dislocating families and the hurricanes that are flooding out coastal areas Now?

Yes, a Very good video and very interesting development. His son, Jarad Kushner is behind this peace agreement. Kushner family had known the Israilie Prime Minister for years. Good friends of family. Very interesting.

My family is a pretty good example of European immigrants that came to America to escape persecution. My great-grand-father fought in WW-I for America. My grandfather fought in WW-II for America.
They came here because they wanted to be Americans.

The vast majority of immigrants today, don't want to be Americans. They want to burn the American flag, over-throw the American government, support socialism and communism.
Of course this isn't just immigrants only, our own college students, college professors, and even some in government want this as well. How these people ever got voted in... I don't know.
But the US is currently in an identity crisis. We are now trying to decide what kind of nation we want to be. The last thing we need is for people who hate this country to come and force their agenda on us.

Our grand-parents didn't come here to start a revolution or fight against American principles. They didn't burn flags and yearn for socialism. This is a real fight, a fight over morals, values, and even
freedom of religion (especially in a Christian context). The Christian church isn't growing in America, it's shrinking at a rate faster than ever before.

What is a leader that doesn't consider the lives of children to be the highest priority in any congregation?

God told the Jews to kill all the babies of foreigners (as well as mothers and children) of people who wanted to come in and "pollute" (King James word, not mine) their morals and religious values.

All this aside, the US gives more money , hunger relief, and medical aid to foreign nations than any other country in the world.

It's one thing when people come to this country through legal channels -- and sure it takes a long time -- but it's the proper / legal way To do so. And those seeking assylum in desperate situations. But most of those situations have existed for decades. And those In this country Do need to be Supporting This country. There are those who are using the freedoms' Of this country Against us.

My grandparents have been gone for a long time -- they came from Sweden and Germany. The ports of entry.

God's Word Does have Strict standards -- for a Reason. We need to be following them.

Interesting observation. What led you to it?

Walk around Seattle, walk around Portland, but to be honest.. since the fires, the riots have quieted down quite a bit.
It's raining here today. The smoke is clearing out, so who knows what will happen tomorrow.

I would say I've seen over a dozen flag burnings in the last year, live in-person. I would say I've seen at least a dozen
more on the news channels. I've seen people standing in street corners and parading around with mega-phones shouting death to America,
death to Trump, and death to the US. I've been in college classes where the professors who are immigrants openly teach insurrection.

When the Americans freed France in WW-II, my dad said people ran up to him and thanked him personally. Some cried, some offered meals,
and some even hung American flags. I have never been to Europe myself (it's on the bucket list) but I know people who have been there recently,
they say Americans are despised, spit upon and cursed. Perhaps not in all parts of Europe, but some places for sure. I've seen American flag
burning in Europe on the news. People say it's safer not to tell anyone you are an American.

Much of my family lives in Texas, and some in southern California, they say the flag burning parties are popular in those places.
If I go back to town this week, I will take a picture of a pile of Bibles (I would guess a couple of hundred ) that were burned.
The US was founded on Christian principles, I was recently told by both an Indian and Filipino co-workers that everyone in those
countries think all Americans are "Christians". While all flag burnings, and all Bible burnings may not be related, it sure seems
they are related in many cases. I can't prove they were done by the same people, but the groups look similar, and they are in the
same parts of town.

Just a few days ago, I saw some young men with PLA type head scarfs, yelling (Insert curse word).. Israel. (insert curse word) the Jews.
(insert curse word) America.

I don't think it takes any special observation powers for anyone to see any of this.
I do have several flag burning news links if you would like to see them.

Observing life being lived all around this country by those Not appreciating the U.S. A.

I have traveled extensively, canada, mexico, south korea, england, scotland, wales, germany, france, netherlands, switzerland, israel, lebanon, spain, and across the US which is my home. There is always opened minded people in nearly all those nations that hold no ill will against the US, but... that being said, there are a lot of people, especially younger people, who despise the US. They are either jealous of the freedoms here, or the mobility of social climbing not available in most countries, or they simply watch too much news that focuses negatively on the US. Regardless, it seems mostly younger people that are being brainwashed into not liking the US. Some of that anger may well be understandable, some US companies overseas treat the employees or the local population there with disdain, the people put up with it simply because they need the jobs so badly our companies provide, NIKE is one of them. Yet blaming the US for these companies is wrong as well, their own countries could do something about it, but local politicians are usually corrupt and dont care about local people so much. I remember when I was in south korea, in the air force, we were told to never wear our uniforms off base, due to possible violence, and thats a close ally. The best experience I remember while in service was in the UK and its changed a lot since then, no doubt it may be worse now. Its always worse, the bigger the cities you visit. London was less friendly than where I was stationed in suffolk.

No argument on that. But virtually all theologians and Bible colleges consider Dan 9-12 a parallel prophecy that will happen again.
There are several events (such as the abomination of desolation) and things (the beast with 10 horns) that are mentioned again in the New Testament.

Mildenhall or Lakenheath in Suffolk?
Lakenheath. Do you remember when President Carter sent a shipment of gold to Iran to gain the release of hostages there? It was sent through Lakenheath, and I was there at the time, some people I worked with unloaded it, unboxed it and reboxed it up to be sent onward. Mildenhall I guess was considered to poor a spot due its much heavier transport traffic there, it was all hush hush at the time.
