He is a shield for all who
take refuge in him.
Psalm 18:30

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, anytime you are in danger, run to Me for safety. I love to be your shield. I have provided you with every piece of armor you need—the helmet of salvation, the sword of the Spirit, shoes of peace, a belt of truth, and the shield of faith. But as your overall shield, I will protect you and absorb any stray darts or bullets that try to penetrate your spiritual armor. The next time you are attacked, send your enemies My way. I'll take care of them.

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
Lord, my own weapons are like ancient tools, useless in today's wars. The battles may be more sophisticated and the schemes of warfare more intense, but Your strength is supe-rior. You are like a bulletproof vest that covers my entire body, mind, and spirit. You are my shield, Lord. I rely on You.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Where can we go but to the Lord? He gives new strength within each heart.

Reminds me of a dream I had almost 20 years ago now.

There was an army dressed in long white robes. A girl was walking through the army passing out crosses and telling them Jesus was the only thing they needed.

In a tree some distance away was black demonic beings sitting in the branches. These demons started shooting their arrows at those dressed in white robes. The arrows were small and fell short of the target every time.
