GUARANTEED DEPOSIT

Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose
and has given us the Spirit as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come.
2 CORINTHIANS 5:5

FROM THE FATHER'S HEART
My child, do you long to exchange your earthly clothes for heavenly garments? Do you know why death, illness, and difficult circumstances enter your life? Partly to make you homesick and keep you focused on what is to come, not what you see here. How do you know something better is coming? My Spirit, your guaranteed deposit, assures you. My Spirit bears witness that a wonderful future awaits you beyond this world!

A GRATEFUL RESPONSE
How do I know Your promises are true? How can I believe in someone I've never seen or touched? Because I have Your Spirit, Lord - my guaranteed deposit, my down payment, the One who lives inside and testifies to Your goodness. Lord, You give wonderful dividends.

SIMPLE TRUTH

God has no faith-back guarantee. Once you're His child, you're His forever.

Hi, let us take another look at the Scripture but this time from the KJV

2 Corinthians 5:5
Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

Now it does not say guaranteed. Yes Gods children are sealed with the Holy Spirit and God Will never leave us nor forsake us. But we ourselves can slip up, we can commit grave sin, or even defect from the faith alltogether = apostacy, yes if we be not careful we can backslide and unless we repent we fall short of the Kingdom of God.

God's grace is never an unconditional "absolute guaranteed" thing for the future, now please listen: it is not unconditional!; yes God keeps His children amen! but we need to hold fast until the end and keep the faith obeying Him and following Him.

We need to confess our sins and forgive others too.

Salvation is ongoing and always conditional.
