There's just something stirring up in my heart recently
  1. Courage is not the absence of fear, but it is the mastery of it.
  2. To drop something down for Jesus does not mean to give it up, but to let Jesus rule over it and deal with it in the grace of God.
  3. A positive attitude does not admit everything is perfect, but it means to look at the good side of something and have hope to do it better.
  4. We should hate the sin but not the sinner. We should love people even they do wrong things against us.

We always have fear but God calls us to have a spirit of power, of love and of self-disciplined. We are called to step out, conquer our fear so we would bring our God to other people's lives. We can always do great things in the presence of fear as long as our courage rules over our fear. I remember fear and selfishness has held me back for the past few years so that I hardly step out to serve others. Until God spoke to me through my leader "When you step out and stretch yourself to serve more, it's called humility not arrogance ." This year is my breakthrough, I decided to spend more time to serve in sound tech during busy study. However, God so bless my fellowship in church and my study. It's amazing that I can study far more effectively if I spend more time to serve in the house of God. (Psalm -- those who plant in the house of God will flourish)

We are called to be master of all things in the world. So no point to be let down by our exams, finance, relationship etc. We are called to rule over everything in our life in the grace of God. Many times God whispers me to drop down something in my life. He doesn't mean me to give it up, but He wants me to hand it to Him and He wants to deal it the problem with me. But I usually refused what Jesus wants. Because of selfishness, personal ambition and greed I hold on to what I plan and my goal. Therefore if God's call interrupts my plan I will just close my door to God and work through that "ALONE". Things will just get more and more difficult usually while I myself work harder and harder. This will often end up with disappointment and frustration. After seeing many great people in church serving others and achieving study well at the same time. I am encouraged, to spend a wee bit more time to think about people. I realized study is not all my life is about even at the stage of being a student. Amazing stuff start happening if you let God to work with you in your study, in your finance etc.

Being "humble" and saying "Na I am not good at that" are the typical mindset in my head. I thought looking at the bad side can motivate me to make things better. But over time the fact is that I will be let down by things and I will start influencing others with negative mind. Jesus is amazingly positive, even in front of death He was still calm because He looked to the long-term goodness of the world. Being a positive Christian is critically important and I so often forgot about this. We can always look at the good side of things and gently tell the downsides at the same time. So our positive attitude can influence,or even amaze people. And Proverb says "a cheerful heart is good for our health".

Love is essential for all three characteristics above. Forgive and love other people can always give a glimpse of who Jesus is. Bear in mind what we should hate and what we should love.

Thank God for His inspiration. Guys, God promises those who love Him will always shine brighter and brighter as long as we take up these four characteristics in our lives. Nothing can hinder God's amazing plan in our lives and we are designed as a unique masterpiece in God's image.:smiling-animated:
