Christ's Finished Atonement or Christ's Failure Atonement

Your playing word games it seems we are talking about free will let's not do the word dance please..

Either I did do it upon my own free will or I was forced to because I don't have free will which is it..

This first must be cleared up before we can move further in this convo..

The Word of God is “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation), so free-will is a conjured concept of the traditions of men leading to worship in vain (Matthew 15:9).

No Word of God states man was imparted a free-will by God.

In Truth (John 14:6), the Almighty God is Sovereign (Genesis 1:1) in man's salvation and affairs of man (Daniel 4:34-35)! PRAISE JESUS!!!

Why don't ya wanna answer my question it's a simple yes I have free will or no I don't need you to quote scripts like your a parrot lol just yes I choose to or no I didn't I was forced because I don't have free will .

One ya are able to bring yourself to answer this simple question we can move on with the convo but did I have free will to choose or not.

Correct me if I am wrong I get confused easily when reading.. but anywho

Is that cat more or less claiming all men are saved? Every single one??

(@_@)

Not at all, he is a Calvinist.

my Lord Jesus has given me the Living God's Holy Spirit!

Well clearly not. You teach and believe that God is evil, unjust and partial. You have absolutely no clue about who God is, how He chooses to be light with no darkness 1 John 1:5, righteous in all His ways Psalm 145:17 and impartial Acts 10:34, which means you most certainly do not have the Holy Spirit.

I stopped reading your post upon finding that you slander (blaspheme) the Holy Spirit who controls me! The Word of God declares "Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come" (Matthew 12:31-32).

I would ask you to quote where I did such, but you have already proven that you are unable to grasp the dictionary definitions of the words 'partial, impartial, just, unjust, good and evil'. As with all Calvinists, you only grasp dictionary definitions of the words 'sovereign and omniscient'. Define the A-Z of God off of those two words.

Calvinism is an extremely low IQ belief. It comes as no surprise that you run from any kind of interrogation.

You really do need to read Matt 18:6 a couple of times. Swimming lessons should be essential for all Calvinists.

Oh, Twistie, your question was addressed in the post to which you replied, but you don't see.

No Word of God you cite states man was imparted a free-will to choose toward God, but here is the Word of God which clearly states man does not choose God to any degree!

The gracious Benefactor, Christ, of us Christians exclusively produces
  1. divine choice of we beneficiaries unto salvation, for the Christ of us Christians says “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19)
AND, Paul is in accord with Jesus’ words for he wrote to the Ephesians “Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love” (Ephesians 1:3-4)
SO, clearly, Jesus’ words in John 15:16 and John 15:19 state God exclusively chooses us believers by/of/through God
  2. beneficiaries’ faith/belief in Lord Jesus, for the Christ of us Christians says (see also a word about belief/faith (Greek πίστις pistis) and believe (Greek πιστεύω pisteuó))
This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent” (John 6:29)
AND Paul is in accord with Jesus’ words for Paul wrote to the Ephesians “by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His work” (Ephesians 2:8-10)
AND Peter is in accord with Jesus’ words for Peter declared “God, who knows the heart, testified to them giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us; and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith” (Acts 15:8-9)
SO, clearly, Jesus’ words in John 6:29 state for us believers to believe in Jesus whom the Father has sent is exclusively by/of/through God
  3. beneficiaries’ fruit of the Spirit/righteous actions/good works, for the Christ of us Christians says
he who practices the Truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they are having been worked in God” (John 3:21)
AND Paul is in accord with Jesus’ words for he wrote to the Philippians “being filled with the fruit of righteousness that [is] by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God” (Philippians 1:11)
SO, clearly, Jesus’ words in John 3:21 state fruit in we believers is exclusively by/of/through God
  4. beneficiaries’ birth by the Holy Spirit, for the Christ of us Christians says "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3) as well as “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit” (John 3:5-8)
AND Peter is in accord with Jesus’ words for he wrote to persons residing as aliens “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3)
SO, clearly, Jesus’ words in John 3:5-8 state we believers being born again is exclusively by/of/through God
  5. beneficiaries’ repent by God’s working, for the Christ of us Christians says
I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes” (Matthew 11:25)
AND the apostles and elders are in accord with Jesus’ words with thier saying, “Well then, God has given to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life” (Acts 11:18)
SO, clearly, Jesus’ words in Matthew 11:25 state that God exclusively causes man to think differently after an encounter with God (repent means to think differently afterward)
  6. beneficiaries’ love by God’s working, for the Christ of us Christians says
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another” (John 13:34)
AND John is in accord with Jesus’ words for he wrote “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God” (1 John 4:7, see the phrase “love is from God” meaning God is the source of true love)
AND John expands with his writing of “God is Love, and the one who abides in Love abides in God, and God abides in him” (1 John 4:16, see the phrase “one who abides in Love” is equivocated with “one who abides” “in God” which extends from God’s exclusivity with “God is Love”)
SO, clearly, Jesus’ words in John 13:34 states that the love, true love (John 3:33), the very righteous love, the Godly love within us children of God, this love is exclusively by/of/through God

And here we have the exclusive Way with absolute Truth in everlasting Life (John 14:6), the love of Christ controls us Christians (2 Corinthians 5:14)!

So, you wrote "Well clearly not" to me about "my Lord Jesus has given me the Living God's Holy Spirit", and you are one applying the label "partial and pure evil" (proof post #20) to the One True Holy God. You "free-will" corrupt your own testimony.

Please pay attention to the Apostle's application of Your Hand illuminating God's intimate control of humanity:

"O Lord, it is You who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said,
'Why did the Gentiles rage,

And the peoples devise futile things?

'The kings of the earth took their stand,

And the rulers were gathered together

Against the Lord and against His Christ.'

For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, to do whatever Your Hand and Your purpose predestined to occur. And now, Lord, take note of their threats, and grant that Your bond-servants may speak Your word with all confidence, while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.
"
(Acts 4:24-30 (NASB1995) - the Apostle Peter and the Apostle John and the Assembly of God were together when they lifted their voices to God with one accord)

Look carefully, for the Assembly of God unison prayer to God includes Pontius Pilate to do whatever Your Hand predestined to occur. That is a specific person under the direct influence of the Lord God Almighty to murder the innocent Son of Man.

The Lord God Almighty lovingly sent the Son of God to redeem God's chosen persons. God is love.

The Lord God Almighty is always good:

No one is good except God alone
(Lord Jesus Christ, Mark 10:18 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty establishes which of man perceive God:

I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes
(Lord Jesus Christ, Matthew 11:25 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty declares the Sovereignty of God "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 3:3 (NASB1995)) for The Lord God Almighty alone is Savior of the world.

The Lord God Almighty had the Apostle Peter declare God's preservation of God's chosen persons as well as self-willed persons punishment, all the declaration showing the Power of God:

"The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority; daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties"
(2 Peter 2:9-10 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty graciously imparts belief into God's chosen persons according to God's good will “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent” (John 6:29 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty declares man is accountable to God:

I tell you that every careless word that men speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment.
(Lord Jesus Christ, Matthew 12:36 (NASB1995))

The Lord God Almighty declares to man his thoughts:

behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the LORD, the God of hosts, is his name!
(Amos 4:13 (NASB1995))

The Lord God Almighty conveyed through the Apostle Paul of people who exalt the creature (think free-will) above the Grand Creator:

"Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false"
(2 Thessalonians 2:11 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty lovingly causes God's chosen persons to will according to God's Way (John 14:6), and God lovingly causes God's chosen persons to work joyfully according to God's Way:

"it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure"
(Philippians 2:13 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty is glorified with “he who practices the Truth comes to the Light, so that his works may be manifested as having been wrought in God” (The Word of God, John 3:21 (NASB1995)).

The unearned love of God is described here “by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His work” (Ephesians 2:8-10)

We Christians know Christ's love controls us (2 Corinthians 5:14)! HALLELUJAH AND PRAISE BE TO LORD JESUS!!!

You are not dealing with the points I made. You are simply moving the goal posts and dancing. As have all other Calvinists before you.

Your thread serves as yet another reminder that pro Calvinist arguments are extremely low IQ.

I mean for argument sake you clearly have absolutely no clue what partial means.

Dear Kermos,
Yes, we are chosen, but for what and to whom.
Not as simple as it seems brother.
Was not Judas also chosen?
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, [and] prepared unto every good work. 2 Timothy 2:20-21 KJV

From even the inception of man in the Garden of Eden, God provided man a choice to make. Obey, him or not. Even Lucifer and the Heavenly Host have had the option. Think on the Lord in the Garden of Getsemani, "Thy will", Lord's Prayer, in our Lord's entire earthly ministry. It was always a choice of Jesus to be faithful to the Father, and so should we. However, it is most difficult to do without His help! So, with Holy Spirit, that which is impossible for us to do alone, it now is possible in Him through Him.

We can be drawn by God, and must be, because His hand is reaching out to us in His inexplicable love, but it truly is up to us to grasp it as a drowning man does for that life preserver if he desires life instead of death, truth instead of lies.

Keep in mind that All is to the Glory, Honor, and Praise of the Father. Where is that if we have no choice and we are made to do so for we know nothing is impossible for our God. Then again it depends on how you define "Election" within the scope of salvation and how it is applied. :) Knowing also that God willingly limits what He does.

Not as simple as we think it is brother. Then again, I'm a simple man, and it might be a lot clearer to you than it is to me. :dizzy: :)

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Look again, Twistie, because the answer is in the posts to which you replied.

No Word of God states man was imparted a free-will by God, in fact, the Holy Scripture clearly states:

"it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure"
(Philippians 2:13 (NASB1995)).

Anyone can repeat scriptures even demons they just don't grow from the Word they will always see with fleshy eyes..
A parrot can be trained up to repeat words seems many Christians follow that way.
Seems many lost the art of conversation and can't give a simple yes or no . Personally I don't see nothing about the Word in them.

I am a Christian because I joyfully follow Christ.

You wickedly label me your "Calvinist".

You believe that God, the Righteous Judge, gives credence to man free-will choosing God, which is, by definition, God being partial to whatever man; furthermore, your Free-willian Philosophy leads to Christ's failure atonement as outlined in the original post.

You believe God trusts your free-will choice, yet it is written "Behold, His servants, He does not trust" (Job 4:18).

I believe that God, the Righteous Judge (Psalm 7:11), gives credence to Lord Jesus, the One Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), which is, by definition, God being impartial to man; furthermore, I believe in Christ's finished atonement as outlined in the original post.

No Word of God states man was imparted a free-will by God, in fact, the Holy Scripture clearly states:

"it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure"
(Philippians 2:13 (NASB1995)).

The Lord God Almighty is glorified with “he who practices the Truth comes to the Light, so that his works may be manifested as having been wrought in God” (The Word of God, John 3:21 (NASB1995)).
I'm just glad I don't follow man cause if I followed your ways God only knows where I would be..
From you I get nothing I do I don't gotta take accountability because I'm forced to do even the evil because I have no free will because the son died so God can make everything love Him He is just not powerful enough to make them obey him because if He was the angels would never have turned their backs..

Amazing lol

You believe that God, the Righteous Judge, gives credence to man free-will choosing God, which is, by definition, God being partial to whatever man;

No. no, no. No free will = partiality. This line by you is as bad as 1 + 1 = 3.

This really is a 'duh' fact my friend,

Dear Kermos,
Yes, we are chosen, but for what and to whom.

Dear Christ4Ever,

The Word of God says Almighty God is the exclusive Chooser of man unto salvation (please see post #25).

Not as simple as it seems brother.

Lord Jesus is the Master Orator! The simplicity and sophistication of His sayings are awesome.

Not only does He speak with authority, but he uses understandable vocabulary.

Christ is speaks in simple terms, here, He says “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation).

Was not Judas also chosen?

Yes, as an Apostle. Judas Iscariot departed prior to Jesus speaking as recorded in John 15:16 and John 15:19, so Judas was not included in the blessing of God's choosing unto salvation.

When we look at God's handiwork as recorded in Romans 9:18-23, then we find the Potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use which signifies God's Sovereign control over people (please see post #18 for crucial detail).

Did you know the word "choose" and it's conjugates are absent from the creation account recorded in Genesis chapters 1-5? Even the Hebrew word בָּחר (Strong's 977 - bachar - choose and it's conjugates) is absent.

We can be drawn by God, and must be, because His hand is reaching out to us in His inexplicable love, but it truly is up to us to grasp it as a drowning man does for that life preserver if he desires life instead of death, truth instead of lies.

Are you conveying that Christ atoned for everyone everywhere in all time?

Keep in mind that All is to the Glory, Honor, and Praise of the Father. Where is that if we have no choice and we are made to do so for we know nothing is impossible for our God. Then again it depends on how you define "Election" within the scope of salvation and how it is applied. :) Knowing also that God willingly limits what He does.

Elect functions as an adjective or noun, and elect is synonymous with choice and chosen. Please see Strong's Greek: 1588. ἐκλεκτός (eklektos) -- Chosen, elect.

The King of Glory says the choice is exclusively His choice as to who receives salvation.

Not as simple as we think it is brother. Then again, I'm a simple man, and it might be a lot clearer to you than it is to me. :dizzy: :)

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Christ expresses the simplicity in
"Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death" (John 8:51) and "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments" (John 14:15).

Kermos

Dear Twistie,

Salvation from the wrath of God is a blessing of God! But, you are so very focused on your own self-proclaimed deeds.

You are right back to being the "you" in Romans 9:19-20 as the person who rejects God by way of rejecting God's Sovereign control of man's salvation:

18 He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires.

19 You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?” 20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this,” will it? 21Or does not the Potter have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for common use? 22 What if God, although willing to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction? 23 And He did so to make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory
(Romans 9:18-23)

Believe Jesus who says “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation).

Love,
Kermos

Dude your like a bot I'm wondering if ya can even hold a conversation at this point talking to you is like talking to a machine n welp I'm not interested into talking to the dead .

Let me know if ya decide ya can hold a convo instead of acting like a programmed bot .

When one can't answer in their own words I then know they are being taught by man.. it's called programming I believe..

Dear poor Twistie,

You do follow man's way because you believe your free-will drives God, not based upon the Word of God. The proof is that not one of your eight posts to me cited nor quoted the Word of God up to post #34.

Speaking of ways, Lord Jesus says "I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except because of Me" (John 14:6), so salvation is all Jesus, alone!

If the Word of God were truly treasure to you, then you would have quoted the Word of God by now, even the exact spot where God says that you do choose Jesus, but you cannot because nowhere does anything like that exist.

Holy Lord Jesus has me here proclaiming the loving Word of God “you did not choose Me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “I chose you out of the world” (John 15:19, includes salvation). God is good to save even one person!

You should be ashamed for mocking God's glorious salvation of man proclaimed to you in the post to which you replied with your "lol" (see post #30)! God's glorious salvation is no laughing matter!

Love,
Kermos
