A Real Christian is an odd (bloke), anyway.

►He feels supreme love for One whom he has never seen;
►Talks familiarly everyday to someone he cannot see;
►Expects to go to heaven on the virtue of another;
►Empties himself in order to be full;
►Admits he is wrong so he can be declared right;
►Goes down in order to get up;
►Is strongest when he is weakest;
►Richest when he is poorest
►Happiest when he feels the worst.
►He dies so he can live;
►Forsakes in order to have;
►Gives away so he can keep;
►Sees the invisible;
►Hears the inaudible;
►And knows that which surpasses knowledge.

~ A. W. Tozer

Oh Yea.

A. W. Tozer Has several books on Prayer, and as wonderful as his poem is, his other books are a real blessing. How wonderful that Tozer took the time to write things for us to read so long away from when he wrote them.

we are wounderfully and fearfully created ....what a great thought ..that we should stand out in a crowd of those who try to blend in...taste and see that the Lord is good

Yes indeed!!!

Tozer also wrote this

Humble yourself and cease to care what men think. A meek man is not a human mouse afflicted with a sense of his own inferiority. Rather,... he has stopped being fooled about himself. He knows well that the world will never see him as God sees him and he has stopped caring. He has obtained a place of soul rest. The old struggle to defend himself is over.

Its good to be different!!!

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Titus 2:13-14

Did you tell your friend that you saw it as a compliment? Hummmmm I've been called "weird" also. So would that make us weirdoes?

Of course, she meant it as a compliment...but even if she had`nt I would have been delighted

Yes, apparently we are weirdos
