Christianity/Politics

The lack of scripture to back up her claims....That makes it myth...And since its being taught in the churches, its Churchianity...but I was talking to Sue.

There is plenty of Scripture to support her claim. And you know it. Just because she didn't provide it in the comment doesn't make it a myth or churchianity, as you like to say.

Sorry pal, it's a forum.

The point of my question in post [HASH=1775]#(9[/HASH]), "Can such liberty and freedom be trusted now when the U.S. has become atheistic and secular?", was to show that a government based upon the Christian faith, upon the Bible, will not, and cannot work when the people become non-christian. This is why the very idea of 'socialism' can be entertained in our country today.

The U.S. is a country that is unique to all others. It is established on a creed, on a declaration. It is a by product of the Christian faith. Which means as the Christian faith erodes among the people, so the government of the U.S erodes with it. And the unbelieving in our country scoff and despise the Christian influence in our laws and government, though all the while enjoying the fruits that it has produced over the years. But they still despise it as it does not represent them. And the more a law or tradition is 'Christian' the more they kick against it. Nothing new, of course. (Ps. 2:1)

My point is the unbeliever cannot be trusted under a government which assumes a Christian faith. The liberty afforded the believing will be used to do evil instead of good. And of course satan has convinced everyone to not talk religion or politics in public, so many Christians shut up and let the unbelieving have his way. Bad move, especially when our government is based upon the Christian faith. The unbeliever and believer will produce naturally the government they so desire. And just as the unbelieving today cannot live under a Christian influenced government, which they have showed since Trump became president, so the believing will be equally against living under an atheistic liberal government, which is coming. Whether one acknowledges the divide or not, it exists and is impassable.

What then? What will be the Christians role then in America?
