My dear friend, it's time to choose
The future of your life
You've reached the bottom of your walk
And now you're deep in strife
Do you go back to what you were
Where you were safe and sound
Or take the hand of Jesus
Be led to higher ground.

Your structure is supporting you
It runs the way you think
But happiness has disappeared
Cause you have dropped the link
So now you wallow in your pain
You don't know what to do
He's waiting for reunion
But that is up to you.

Now it is decision time
The answers very plain
You either carry on in doubt
Or reach for living rain
Do yourself a favour
Give Him your septic state
Rejoice that He will set you free
And realign your fate.

I too write poetry sometimes - I may be walking in the woods or climbing a mountain or hill or even have a great disappointment when I suddenly feel the "urge" to write. I try to always keep a pen and small notebook close by.


Writing and poetry can release things inside us that gives us immense satisfaction.
