i have just changed church , its such a shame because i left one church to go to another which was closer to my home and that was my only reason for changing . and id attended this church for almost a year but now im having to move again ,which i found one this last sunday which had me filled with the holy spirit instantly on the 1st song. i havent felt like this ever at the other church . ive worked out that i was learning nothing , no encouragement from the bible was given . we werent encouraged to even take our bibles to church because it was all put up on a screen. at the new church i attended on sunday they encourage bible study and taking notes during the service. wow , i know im going to be back on track very soon and quicker than ever now , i have a year to catch up on .
isnt it a shame how a church can end up like this ?

Israel followed the 'cloud' and the 'fire' so do we but today, His name is Jesus
Be sure you are right behind him....all else becomes secondary

In His Love

i had a fantastic chat with someone today about this and she set me straight on a few things , and prayed for me . its very hard to put into text what you really are saying but im back on track now :)

hello

Once you except Christ he is always there and dose not leave. I am not sure what you mean by back on track. It is great that you found a church that is good for you. I am sure there are lots of people at the previous church who feels that is the church for them.

absolutely the church is full of people that find it great for them , however they probably have self disipline , where as im afraid thats something i lack. i get too busy with my life ,which actually now ive wrote that i see that this is what i need to pray in to. I just need more disipline than these people ...by my own admittance. But God made me that way and He is giving me a new way of thinking . What child actually asks there Father for disipline ? ! im sort of talking to myself here :)

Perhaps it was simply time for you to grow.
There are so many members in the body each at a different level of faith and a different place in their walk. The important thing is to be sure you are where God wants you.
Sometimes that means pressing ahead into deeper waters other times that means staying where God has placed you to help others.

Yeah, I have too changed churches at least 3 times in the last 4 years. But I finally found one that I have enjoyed since November and plan on staying until we move next year.

Any really good Bible Churches around the Daytona area in Florida? That's where I'm moving to next year.
