1 Cor 3 : 11 - 13
"For other foundation can no man lay, than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay stubble: Every mans work will be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every mans work, what sort it is".
A Master Builder bought a plot of land, in the best part of town, with the intention of building a private family dwelling. The building of such domicile began.
The Master Builder then decided to take a holiday.
He called in his manager to give him the news. "Take over the building of this home", he said to his manager, "my wife and I are taking a break, but we will be back in a few weeks".
His manager immediately grasped the opportunity. "Ah yes" he said to himself, "I will cut back on the standard/quality here and there, "and make a little profit for myself as we proceed".
The boss returned after a short while. "Well how are you doing" he said, "All is completed" said his manager. "Good said the boss, and here are the keys to this house, it is yours, I give it to you in appreciation of all your help over recent years"
We are building day by day as the moments pass away. A temple which the world may not see.
Every victory won by grace will be sure to find a place, in that building for Eternity
