I have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ as i want God to be the ruler of my life. I believe Jesus Christ is God's Messiah and that He died on the Cross for all of mankind. I have not trusted my own life and i wanted to have peace and rest and a life that will not be in vain so i ran to Jesus Christ. I suffered before i was baptized so much with doubt but i gave my life over to God that He may heal me from all these things.
My spirit is broken, because my heart start doubting 'Did Jesus really die for MY sins...?' Am i really forgiven? Next to that it is like i am not experiencing joy and piece, but a broken spirit.
I want to follow Christ and i have chosen to follow Him. I cannot do anything on my own but only by God's power. I prayed for the Holy Spirit and for God to be with me in this situation.
This is actually the wordt moments of my life while it should be the most best part of my life. But i will not give up praying, but knowing this is almost unbearably, its breaking and tearing up the heart and spirit, i would like to ask anyone who can pray for me so that i may not doubt I am cleansed by His blood and that I have joy in the salvation of the Lord rather that to be brokoen in doubt.
I dont want to doubt and have this in my heart.
I feel terribly sad and all joy has been gone out of me, yet i will cling to Jesus.
PLEASE HELP ME. Your prayers can help and WILL i believe help if it is according to the Lord.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Psalm 51:17 This verse came to mind as I read your prayer request. You are in my prayers.

our prayers can help and WILL i believe help if it is according to the Lord.

That is the way to pray! I will be praying for you as well.

John 20:27-29

Just as Christ was content to comfort Thomas, so He will be content to comfort you.

Holding you in my prayers

Blessings

Mark 9:24 (KJV) And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Pray this^ & God will help you as He did this man.

I am praying for you too.

I too, have said a prayer for you to Our Almighty GOD, through Our Beloved Savior, Christ Jesus.

And I would like to ask you, have you ever read these scriptures below?

Mark 4:5-6 & Mark 4:16-17

5."Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang
up because it had no depth of earth.
6."But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away.

16. "These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word,
immediately receive it with gladness;
17. "and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word's sake, immediately they stumble.

There was a time in my life when I felt similar to how you say you are feeling.

I too went to GOD in prayer through Christ Jesus.

I remember back in 1999 when I finally {and personally} exsepted The Almighty GOD & Jesus
Christ into my life, and I've been Bible Studying for so many months before hand, that I
went to Jehovah in prayer, about the scriptures in Mark 4:5-6 & 16-17 "The seede that fell
on the stony ground."

Because as I read the scriptures I felt as though I was reading about myself & it scared me.
Because I was very determined to become holy, to let my love flow & show GOD how much I love
HIM.

But I had {& still have} a lot of immeture bad habits. I couldn't understand why I couldn't
change over night, or should I say with in the 3 months or so that I had been Bible Studying.

So I went to The Almighty GOD in prayer, telling HIM how I felt {at that time}. How I felt
that the scripture related to me. I remember saying to HIM, that "I really want to turn
{change} from my wicked ways & become righteous in HIS eyes. So, then why can't I change?"

An amazing thing happen, {I think it was the very next day} my husband & I went for a walk
along a walking trail in the woods, we were heading down ward towards a waterfall, where
water flowed down a giant bolder, a awesome sight to see!

But the most awesome site of all was this other giant bolder that had a tree growing on it.
My husband had poited it out to me. And ameedetly I remembered my prayer to The Almighty GOD.
And I believe that Jehovah answered my prayer, explaining to me that just because the seeds
that fell on rocky ground doesn't nessasarly meen they all will wither & die, for some can
still find enough soil to make rout, {though they are weeker than the ones that landed
on soiled ground} & with all their might & GOD"S Love they will servive & grow ever so strong
tree with lots of stonge branches.

Your Sister in Christ Jesus, *genesis

Thank you so much

I would like to thank God first for the love you have within you to pray for me! Wow, glory be to God!
I have really really been strengthened after i read those things.
Im grateful for this. Thank you very much everyone!
Though it might not be gone completely, God does not want me to perish He has a good plan with me.
I prayed to God. I am going to move forward, not with my own righteouness but begging God to put His righteouness in me.
I cannot fully express my thanks to everyone because the things of the Lord are like inexpressible.
(hope some will keep me in prayer : )

I prayed brother to help me with unbelief. thanks!

Let me start by saying "hello". I am brand-new to this site.

OK, that said...you mentioned that you gave your life to Christ because you wanted to experience joy and peace. Now you have doubts because you are not receiving that joy and peace. There are so many people who are told that if you give your life to Christ you will have a "wonderful life", and that you will experience "joy and peace". While being a Christian does give you joy and peace on many levels, the Bible does not say that our lives will be wonderful. In fact, John 15:18 says:
If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.

What we need to realize is WHY we need a Savior. We have all broken God's Law and deserve eternal punishment. We are all guilty. God loves us so much however, that He sent His Son to pay the price for our sins in His life's blood. When we repent, turn from sin and live for Him, THEN we will experience joy and peace. God is faithful, and will never forsake us. I'll leave you with Jeremiah 29:11...
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

You are in my prayers.

There are times when we all stumble & fall.
But if we have a strong love for GOD & Christ Jesus, we will be able to stand back up again.
For GOD loves those who love HIM. And through HIS love we will gain strength. Proverbs 8:17 & Exodus 20:6

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. {John 3:16, 1 John 4:10}

Daniel 9:4, {John 16:27, John 17:23, 2 Thessalonians 2:16,1 John 3:1}

Life will not always be a of bed of roses, whether we be Christian or not. We live in a untamed world full of self-centered, greedy, hateful & violent people.

There is no getting away from that fact.

But GOD will watch over those who love HIM & protect them. {Psalms 145:20}

Jesus even said;

"If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.
"If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. {John 15:18-19}

And it is written; But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {Galatians 5:22}

It also states this in 1 John 3:11-13
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother's righteous.
Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.

And for some reason you feel that you have sinned badly & think that The Almighty God is out to punish you good; think again!

Remember, too, Jesus died for ALL OF US, this means you too! He died with in the HOPE the we would be saved. IN HOPE that we pay close attention to His Teachings.

Jesus died to free us {you] from sin.

Matthew 1:20-21
behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Remember HIS Words;

-- New Jerusalem with Apocrypha

Lamentations 3:33
for it is not for his own pleasure
that he torments and grieves the human race.

-- New Jerusalem with Apocrypha

Ezekiel 33:11
Say to them, `As I live, declares the Lord Yahweh, I do not take pleasure in the death of the wicked but in the conversion of the wicked who changes his ways and saves his life. Repent, turn back from your evil ways. Why die, House of Israel?'

He is telling you right now that HE forgives you & is giving you the chance to turn from your wicked {or wrongful} ways & to live a forever lasting life of true happiness.

HE also knows that once we die there is no turning back to turn from your wicked ways; because when we die we will be sitting on the judgment seat waiting to be judged for the wickedness you did.

So, do go to HIM, & say to HIM: "Our Father Who's Heaven, Hallow be THY Name. It's YOUR Kingdom I long to see &
what YOU want done hear on earth as it is in Heaven."

Give HIM thanksgiving first & pray for others. Then tell HIM how you feel, let HIS
presence come to you & guide you. Ask HIM to pour out HIS Holy Spirit upon you & do ask all this in the name of HIS beloved Son, Jesus Christ, ending with a Amen.

I tell you this, because I believe this is the best way for you to find the answers to your prayers, you are looking for.

And always keep your bible handy, because sometimes that's where GOD gives HIS best answers.

Bible Studying with others is important, but solo Bible Studying is an awesome way to go, so-long you always invite The Almighty GOD & Christ Jesus to your Bible Study through prayer each & every time you Bible Study.

You will find HIM answering your prayers, and may even feel HIS Holy Spirit entering your very soul. For me the feeling was a wonderful content, peaceful happy feeling - that just would not go away, especially during Bible Studying.
