Blinded, not able to really understand the bible??

You have so judged yourself.

Matthew 7:2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but TEST THE SPIRITS, whether they are OF GOD; because MANY FALSE prophets have gone out into the world."

If a person claimed to be an atheist you would judge them to not be a spirit filled disciple of Christ in the same way by your own words you were tested and found to be the same.

You don't see it, but you can't make a right judgment, and I agree with Jesus on how you are now judged.

How many unclean spirits have you cast out?
How many times have you been sent by the Holy Ghost to do or say something and there was no doubt whatsoever that you were told to do it?
How many times have you laid hands on the sick as instructed to do so and they recovered?
Raised any dead yet?

I can't speak for @God's Truth , but...

How many unclean spirits have you cast out? - a few
How many times have you been sent by the Holy Ghost to do or say something and there was no doubt whatsoever that you were told to do it? - numerous times, don't know if I could count.
How many times have you laid hands on the sick as instructed to do so and they recovered? - dozens of times.
Raised any dead yet? - None yet that I know of. (unless we are speaking spiritually here).

Mark 16:15; And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mark 16:16; "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.
Mark 16:17; "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;
Mark 16:18; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

Matt 28:18; And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Matt 28:19; "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
Matt 28:20; teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Jas 5:14; Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord;

How many unclean spirits have you cast out?
Jesus is the one who casts them out, and I watched Jesus cast away an uncountable amount.
How many times have you been sent by the Holy Ghost to do or say something and there was no doubt whatsoever that you were told to do it?
You need to do what the Holy Spirit says and stop teaching false doctrines.

Raised any dead yet?
You don't even know who has a powerful testimony by the Holy Spirit.
You are judged the way you judged, and it is God's Word who says it.

The post was directed to @Godstruth. But at least you understand there are things that a spirit filled believer will do as instructed. He? on the other hand doesn't understand how
one could be taught by the Holy Ghost as he has not the ears with which to hear yet. This is nothing more than a few questions in an attempt to show the difference between an
elect and one that is not. You have answered as one who is!

Personally I believe you would be best served by leaving you alone. But if you must have someone to argue your points with here is a substitute. :)

Knowledge, wisdom and understanding in Gods words is given to us by God as a gift. These are mentioned as gifts of the Holy Spirit. So which comes first, repentance of sin and obedience, or the free gift?

It is written that the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. So I would say the gift comes first, then repentance of sin and obedience follow soon after. Paul is a good example of this, one who persecuted the followers of Jesus, but despite this was given the Spirit of grace and understanding being chosen by God.
Not that we continue in sin after the free gift, but we are obedient to God because of the free gift. If obedience earns us the gifts, then it is our works and not Gods Grace. Obedience comes after we are chosen and called by Gods grace.

God gave gifts to the rebellious also….
Psalm 68:18
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
'Thou hast ascended on high,
Thou hast led captivity captive:
Thou hast received gifts for men;
yea, for the rebellious also,
that the LORD God might dwell among them.'
(Psa 68:18)

Hello @StewardoftheMystery,

Thank you for quoting the verse above and comparing it with it's usage by the Holy Spirit in the New Testament:-

'But unto every one of us is given grace
.. according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
.... Wherefore He saith, When He ascended up on high,
...... He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
(Now that He ascended,
.. what is it but that He also descended first
.... into the lower parts of the earth?
...... He that descended is the same also that ascended
........ up far above all heavens, that He might fill all things.)
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets;
.. and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
.... For the perfecting of the saints,
...... for the work of the ministry,
........ for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith,
.. and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
.... unto a perfect man,
...... unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children,
.. tossed to and fro,
.... and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
...... by the sleight of men,
........ and cunning craftiness,
.......... whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
But speaking the truth in love,
.. may grow up into Him in all things,
.... Which is the head, even Christ:
...... From Whom the whole body fitly joined together
........ and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
.......... according to the effectual working in the measure of every part,
............ maketh increase of the body
.............. unto the edifying of itself in love.'
(Eph 4:7-16)

Praise God!

Thank you

Hello again, @StewardoftheMystery,

Your reference to the gift of God brought the following words of God to mind:-

'But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.
.. For if through the offence of one many be dead,
.... much more the grace of God,
...... and the gift by grace,
........ which is by one man, Jesus Christ,
.......... hath abounded unto many.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift:
.. for the judgment was by one to condemnation,
,,,, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one;
.. much more they which receive abundance of grace
.... and of the gift of righteousness
...... shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore as by the offence of one
.. judgment came upon all men to condemnation;
.... even so by the righteousness of one
...... the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
........ For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners,
.......... so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Moreover the law entered,
.. that the offence might abound.
.... But where sin abounded,
...... grace did much more abound:

.......... even so might grace reign
............ through righteousness unto eternal life

Hello yet again, @StewardoftheMystery,

These words brought to mind the words in Ephesians, concerning the Church which is His Body, (Christ's Body).

'Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners,
but fellowcitizens with the saints,
and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In Whom all the building fitly framed together
groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
In whom ye also are builded together
for an habitation of God through the Spirit.'
(Eph 2:19)

Praise God! For His wondrous grace!

'For this cause (said Paul)
I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of Whom the whole family (i.e., families) in heaven and earth is named,
That He would grant you,
according to the riches of His glory,
to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints
what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled
with all the fulness of God.
Now unto Him that is able to do
exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us,
Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages,
world without end.
Amen.'
(Eph 3:14-21)

Praise His Holy Name!

Thank you

What does this set of verses SAY to you inside?

Yes they did it in His name, but we do it because He speaks and says to do it. We have ceased from our own works and only do the works He gives us to do.
You don't make sense. I gave you scriptures that show you take too much pride in yourself while you falsely judge others.

It's because you really don't understand. How many times have you heard the voice of the Holy Ghost from within you?

Hello @Samson2020,

You ask me what the two verses you highlighted in my post say to me:-

' Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation;
even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.'
(Rom 5:18b)

* The great theme of Romans is given in Romans 1:17, 'The just shall live by faith'. Chapters 1-4 tells us what constitutes this righteousness, and what this faith is, but, in chapters 5-8, the theme is 'life' and 'living'. In this verse (above) we are told that the free gift of justification by faith has 'come' upon all men, and that all men therefore may avail themselves of it. It is received through faith in the absolute sufficiency of the sacrificial work of Christ on our behalf. Who died and rose again, taking upon Himself the penalty of our sins and dying in our place, that we may have our sins forgiven and receive the gift of the righteousness of God imputed to us, thereby being made alive unto God in Christ Jesus our risen Lord.
-----------------

'That as sin hath reigned unto death,
even so might grace reign through righteousness
unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.'

(Rom. 5:21b)

*Verses 5:12-21 show us Adam and Christ, as type and antitype, illustrating how sin had reigned unto death 'in Adam', but now grace reigns through righteousness unto eternal life, 'in Christ Jesus', the risen Lord.

* 1 Corinthians 1:30-31 show us that God places those who trust in Him for salvation, 'in Christ'. For 'in' Him is righteousness and resurrection life:-

'But of Hm are ye in Christ Jesus,
Who of God is made unto us wisdom,
and righteousness,
and sanctification,
and redemption:
That, according as it is written,
He that glorieth,
let him glory in the Lord.'

(1Cor. 1:30-31)

Thank you :)
