Blessing for Jan.1st 2008

LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. (Psalm 16:5)

Let me tell you dear brother/sister in Christ, God has many blessings set apart for you this New Year. By blessings I mean, blessings that He has reserved for you alone; some special blessings that I or others may not receive.

Our God shows no favoritism. He loves you more than anyone else because you are His child. And each one of us can say that. “Yes, God loves me more than anyone else.”

The psalmist here says that God has made his lot secure. Financial security is a concern for many. But you do not have to fear. He will give you “not what you deserve” (because we do not deserve anything) but “what He has set apart for you.” Just be faithful to Him. God bless you.

wow Jeremiah7 how bless are you
never in a chat room has a more true post ever been made. By grace through the Glory of God do we get blessings and for His faithful as you said undeserving but those blessings are there none the less. I cannot understand those that say God has done nothing for them, its most unfortunate that they have turned their backs on Jesus or just don't look and listen. Once we begin to live for our Lord we live for each other, when we do this we, each, grow beyond what is seen in society to as normal. Before we realize it our lives become so full, it is beyond reason.
