Bible Scriptures on Righteousness
For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. (Psalms 5:12 NKJV)
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11 NKJV)
He who trusts in his riches will fall, But the righteous will flourish like foliage. (Proverbs 11:28 NKJV)
A good man obtains favor from the LORD, But a man of wicked intentions He will condemn. (Proverbs 12:2 NKJV)
Evil pursues sinners, But to the righteous, good shall be repaid. (Proverbs 13:21 NKJV)
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33 NKJV)

Great verses Chad, hope you don't mind me adding to them.
II Corinthians 5:21
"For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him."
I owe all my righteousness to Jesus.

And of course His blood cleanses me from all unrighteousness
I John 1:7; 9
"7) But if we walk in the light, as He is in the the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin."
"9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Thank You JESUS!

Psa 1:1 Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God.
Psa 1:2 Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the LORD, and they study it day and night.
Psa 1:3 They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up. They succeed in everything they do.
Psa 1:4 But evil people are not like this at all; they are like straw that the wind blows away.
Psa 1:5 Sinners will be condemned by God and kept apart from God's own people.
Psa 1:6 The righteous are guided and protected by the LORD, but the evil are on the way to their doom.

Luk 1:5 In the days of King Herod of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly order of Abijah. His wife was a descendant of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
Luk 1:6 Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, and they lived blamelessly according to all of the commandments and regulations of the Lord.

Righteous is the one who lived blamelessly according to all of the commandments and regulations of the Lord.
