Better to trust in God

Better to trust in God than put confidence in man........better to trust in God than put confidences in Princes.......Ps 118:8



Whatever we enter in our diary, God has the long-term operative calendar.

His purposes rise above our priorities. We can be agitated, frustrated, impatient, but He knows where He wants us and when.

“Submit your ways to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass.” It is the best counsel. Happy New Year.

It is good to lose all confidence in flesh. . .count it a great blessing when God causes our paltry anchors to fail us . . .an even greater blessing when we fail to prove firm and steady ourselves . . .I am no anchor, but there is ONE. . .

CEV Heb 6:17 So when God wanted to prove for certain that his promise to his people could not be broken, he made a vow. God cannot tell lies! And so his promises and vows are two things that can never be changed. We have run to God for safety. Now his promises should greatly encourage us to take hold of the hope that is right in front of us. This hope is like a firm and steady anchor for our souls.

There is no happiness without hope. . .but if you have this hope you have all the happiness to be had in this world and the world to come, amen. Happy New Year Brothers and Sisters
