Heaven bound
What are the 5 best things for you in this earth?
when you get to heaven, what are the first 5 things you'll do?
(eheeem, try to use your imagination in an unimaginable place with the presence an unimaginable God.)
take time to let your mind fly.
keep quoting so we can continually read the answers of our brothers and sisters.
1. Jesus came into my wrechid life and set me free!
2. He brought my wife into my life who has helped me a lot in walking the straight and narrow path.
3. Letting me have kids who I tried my best which never was enough, but I have now lived long enough to see Him working in their lives and they know and love Jesus. What more can a father ask for.
4. This next one follows the above easily. That our heavenly Father has allowed me the blessing of seeing my grandchildren from my son. Lord willing I will get to see my daughters children and share the love of Jesus with them as well.
5. My mom and dad who never gave up on me and prayed for me for what must of seemed forever for them.
When I get to Heaven,
1. Worship Him, Thank Him, Praise Him.
2. I don't think I ever get to the rest of these but it would be amazing if I saw my biological dad there.
Long story short he had a few strokes and didnt know the Lord. He was very abusive to my mom and left before I was born.
Saw him once for the first time when I was 20. Then about 8 years later I heard he was in the hospital again with his multiple problems with alcohol abuse.
I went to see him, and ask him if he knew Jesus he said no and got very upset with me. I asked him very boldly, if he ever would do one thing for me it would be to seriously read this one tract about accepting Jesus into his life.
He said yes he would read it and asked me to leave. I did and he died not to long afterwards so I never knew if he read it and asked Jesus into his heart or not.
So that would bless me soo much. Even though I never really knew him.
3. I was able to see my grandmothers and grandfathers who brought me up as a child for many years cause my mom was divorced at 19. Had to survive a very rough world back then in the early 1950's.
4. Kinda neat to know what I looked like with the new body He is going to give us. Sounds very selfish I know. What age will I be at, etc....?
5. Will there be any of our pets there? They loved us without judgement.
I remember times where I had done some stupid thing to my dogs and or cats and they would come back like they had done something wrong and snuggle up to us. Sounds silly I know.
Like I said I think when I get there all I will be able to do is constantly worship Him for eternity and all other things will be irrelevant. Yet when you read scripture it does state many things.
Thanks for the post.
