In Romans 1:16 it say, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Don't limit the word salvation to just mean being born again. It means much more than that, it means healing, deliverance, preservation, safety, wholeness. Notice, it's not the power of God unto salvation to everyone, it's the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. What makes the difference, 2 Corinthians 4:13 says, We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. And what makes it the power of God for you is Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Notice, you confess unto salvation, so salvation comes from the spoken word of God by you. It's the word that you speak out of your heart(not your blood pump) that makes the difference. Notice, in Proverbs it backs that up, in Proverbs 12:6 it says, the mouth(words, in line with God's word) of the upright will deliver them. In Proverbs 12:6 it says, the tongue(words) of the wise is health and Proverbs 14:3 says, the lips(words) of the wise will preserve them.
Because, God said in Isaiah 55:11, So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void(empty, without fruit), but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Notice, his word will not return to him without fruit, fruit represents a manifestation. And one of the main teachings of Jesus is words are seeds. In the parable of the sower in Mark 4:14 Jesus said, the sower soweth the word and Luke has it recorded as, "The seed is the word of God." And Jesus said the place where the seed is sown is the heart of man. When a seed is planted it releases what's in it, so the thoughts of God, the life, the health, whatever is in it is released and you receive it. As Abraham received the word in him the life in it was released and he received that word manifested. Names have meaning with God, Abram means high father and Abraham means father of a multitude. In Genesis 17:5 God said, Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. God told him that when his body was dead and his wife's womb was dead (Rom. 4:19). So, as he received that word in him the life in it was released and he received that word manifested, he confessed unto salvation. God's word did not return to him void(empty, without fruit), but it accomplished what God pleased and prospered in the thing whereto He sent it.
Notice, God did the work first in the spiritual, because his body was dead in the physical and He gave Abraham the seed to manifest it in this physical realm. His name was a seed. Did he reap what he sowed, yes. God promised him that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars. And in Deuteronomy 1:10 Moses speaking to his descendants, The Lord your God hath multiplied you, and, behold, ye are this day as the stars of heaven for multitude. Now, what did that, the seed Abraham sowed. Naturally he had no way of making that happen, but the seed had the ability. And as the man in Acts 14 received the word in him the healing in the word was released and he received a manifestation. Every seed produces after it's kind, whatever the word says is what it will produce/become. Jesus is the word made flesh, the word(spiritual) is designed to manifest (physical). A seed is designed to become something, a seed does not stay a seed once it's planted. If you plant a rose seed and that rose comes up can you dig up the ground and find the seed, no, that rose is the seed. 1 John 1:1,2 says, That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; 2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us
, what was with The Father in the beginning, John 1:1 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. What was with God was spiritual and it manifested physical, how, the word.
Jesus talked about that in Mark 4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad. Understand, he is talking in the context of seed being sown, that's what the whole chapter is referring to. What he is saying is there is nothing (no word or seed) hid (planted) which shall not be manifested (seen). How does that happen Luke 17:21 says, Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. And back in Mark 4:26-8, And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. And the seed should spring and grow up, he knowth not how, in Mark 4:11 Jesus said, And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables. Notice, Jesus calls it a mystery, how the kingdom of God transforms words/seeds into things is a mystery.
Romans 10:8 says, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. In Hebrews 10:23 the scripture says to hold fast to your profession(confession) of faith.
Why, Matthew 12:34,35 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. So, you speak the word in your heart and when it is in your heart in abundance it will come out. And that's the word in Isaiah 55:11 where God says, his word will not return to him void(without fruit). Because, it says you will bring forth what you speak in it, that's the fruit. That's the word that will become flesh/manifested. What a man soweth that shall he reap. The woman with the issue of blood, it says, When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. When it says she said in the concordance it says she kept saying. She spoke that in her and out of the abundance of her heart she spoke it out and brought forth that fruit. Because, it says, And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. You see in Genesis 1:11,12 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
But, then in Genesis 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. After God did the work He gave Adam the seeds of his finished works. In other words, if anymore trees are going to come into the earth it's going to be by man by the seeds. A lot of people are waiting on God to do something and He's waiting on them to sow something. The works are finished and He has given us the seeds. Now, it's up to us to receive the seeds, the implanted word. And as a man soweth that shall he reapeth. It's the implanted word that produces the fruit.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Romans 5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 2 Peter 3:9 King James Version 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
