Dear Brother Peace Seeker

I give all of my thanks to our Loving Lord Jesus Christ. For it is He Who has deposited such love for others into my heart.

But we all have one or other thing we fight with day in and day out. Thats why Jesus said there will be tough times, but we must remember that He has already overcome the world Halleluja to our Lord and King!!!

I struggle with anger tantrums - hahahah yes, this loving heart can turn into anger. I got to a point where I can control it, and not hurting other peoples feelings. But at the very moment of anger I need to walk around the corner and have a fit, just to get rid of that energy, otherwise it will drive me crazy the whole day long.

I tend to just focus on Jesus allot when it get really bad and I try not to focus on my problem, and then it goes away for a long time, but when it comes back, I fight with it again. And yes, I have to put on my Armor aswell, I do know that very well, for our fight is not agains flesh and blood, but the principalities and powers of the air. And by reading this verse in the bible, it says that its not me that is crazy, its the powers and principalies of the air that is attacking me, I have to do spiritual battle.

But thank you for reading my letter with my struggle too. We are all running this race in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is standing at the finishline, cheering us on every step of the way, telling us we're almost there, just a little further. But satan is on the side of the runway aswell, trying to brake us down by shouting lies. We must not listen to his lies, he is the father of lies. We must keep our eyes locked on our Saviour and Friend at the end of the finishline coz at the end of the day its all about Him.

Yes, He has definitely already overcome the world!

Good advice from you here: "I tend to just focus on Jesus allot when it get really bad and I try not to focus on my problem".

I was really put through a learning curve when I was going through the horrible torments I was a few weeks ago. I had such a spiritual battle, it was literally adversely affecting my health. But with some encouragement and prayers from the good people on here, some scripture reading, and above all some faith and trust in He who is totally trustworthy, God has delivered me. Hallelujah!! I was made more than a conqueror through him who loved me.

I went from being terrified of satan's attacks to where I am now, at peace in the Lord. Satan doesn't scare me any more , he is a defeated enemy that Jesus crushed under his feet! Whereas when it first started Satan was attacking me left and right, now he barely comes around anymore! Praise Jesus !!!

Yes, he does still try to plant his lies and evil thoughts in my mind a couple times here and there in my day, but now I cut them down with the sword of truth and his fiery darts barely make a dent in my shield of faith. If he wants to get his garbage thoughts into my head, they have to try get through my helmet of salvation.
If I have a moment of weakness, I use my belt of truth of the Word, which says, "be strong and be of good courage, do not fear or be dismayed, for I will never forsake you" !!

And if the slimy little snake persists, I rebuke him in the name of Jesus Christ !

I am absolutely awed at God's power, because this kind of spiritual warfare is totally new to me. It was like, "help me Lord! How can I put on this armor and go into battle when I haven't even done boot camp yet?" :wink:

And all through it Jesus held me close and said, "peace be unto you" and I started to cry out to Him and He heard my cry!

I give God all the glory. If it wasn't for Him I shudder to think what condition I'd be in right now. Satan attacked me when I was very weak (what a surprise for him!) but Jesus made me strong. I know without a doubt that he delivered and healed me. Wow, it was awesome!

Lord Jesus I pray for Sheep that your Peace that surpasses all understanding will melt the anger from her heart and give her your rest and comfort in all things. You are a healer and a deliverer and you take great pleasure in giving liberally of your grace and love to your children. I ask in your name, the name above all names, that you bless her and keep her close to you always. In Jesus name we receive this. Amen !

2 Corinthians 12:9 - My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
This is what popped into my mind when I was reading what you went through. His strength is really perfect in our weakness!! Jesus is so amazing in all and everything He does. Wow, praise His Almighty Name forever.

The understanding that I get by reading your Testimony is that, whatever was very weak in you become just the oposite in Jesus. Wow, what the Holy Spirit just revealed through you to me is amazing and it gives me allot of hope.

Because as I was reading your letter I was laughing out loud, its amazing what boldness Jesus has put inside of you. Wow, you are really blessed with a heart of a lion. Well, we all know that Jesus is the lion of Judah

And if Jesus did that for you, He can do it for me too - that the good news He can take my anger and turn it into powerfull love, gentleness, kindness and meakness. I really can't wait!!!!!!! What a blessing for talking to you today. Thank you Jesus.

Wow, as I was reading your prayer, I felt the anointing power of the Holy Spirit run through my body,

thank you so much for your gentleness and love. It can only be Jesus that lives inside of you!!! Amen

Praise Jesus, and you're welcome! I just thank the Lord that He has given me a gentler heart, because I used to swear like a drunken sailor and had a terrible anger problem. Sometimes I would shock myself! And my wife would be scared too. Everything in life bothered me, no matter how trivial, and that's not living in the Spirit and is a horrible way to live.

One thing that got me through my trial was refusing to look for evidence that my prayers were answered. Rather, I just accepted and claimed the answers, no matter what. That was God's grace upon me, because I was not faithful or strong enough to be of that mindset.

If we look for evidence it is not faith. God never lies and never harms us. We harm ourselves by pulling away from Him. Praise be to our mighty Savior, Jesus Christ, that He pulled me toward Him while I was pulling away !!! (He's stronger than me, so no contest, He won that battle). :wink:

Amen! About His grace, you have no idea how much I asked God for it, and the hardest part (but it really shouldn't be though), was accepting and believing that His grace really is sufficient for me, when it looked to the contrary.
If His grace wasn't sufficient for me, I wouldn't be here right now, I would have been in the clutches of the evil one still and he would be making mince meat out of me.

I can imagine Jesus up in Heaven saying to His angels, "listen to that guy, he wants me to send an army of you down there to protect him, when I've already given him a huge sword and the best breastplate and helmet available. And he keeps asking for more grace from me, when I just sent him enough grace for a city! LOL

If God was human like us He would surely be frustrated with us all the time! But praise be to God that He is the gentle Shepherd that loves His sheep so much that He laid down His life for them!!

Exactly! In my weakness His strength was revealed, and boy was I weak! I can't stress that enough. But He took my terror away and as I meditated on Jesus' words and considered who He is, that He has overcome the world, that all power is given unto Him in Heaven and Earth, I realized, what power does that old serpent have?

Basically all satan is good at is crawling on his belly and licking the dust of the ground, and putting his neck under our feet to use as a footstool! And saying, "boo"!! :wink:

Thank you Jesus for conquering all the works of the devil and making a show of it on the cross !!

I am not strong, it is He who lives in me that is strong. Greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world !!

I was always a chicken Christian. You know, the kind of attitude of : "I'll suffer for you Lord if I have to, but I'd really prefer not to". Or, "spiritual battles?, no thanks, I'll let those other Christians do that". :embarasse

What a mess you say? I think its the perfect mess And I understood it perfectly - I was actually thinking on asking you how you came to creat this masterpiece.

Anyway, now, at the top you'll find my attempt ahahhahah as I'm typing this I think it didn't work out like yours

But what I wanted to share is - satan walks around LIKE a roaring lion trying to devour anyone he can get. He is NOT the Lion of Judah. Actually in my opinion, he walks around like a roaring kitten - hahahahahah. But yes, he is real and he can be scary at times, ask me, I know. This is what whis whole thread is all about.

But............. Jesus came to my rescue!!! And it happened again, to make matters even worse, my husband wasn't home, he was away on business. So I was alone, and it happened again. I saw 3 heads appear in the corner of the room. The moment I came to realisation with a great shock and fright it was 3 dog heads and they were angry, showing teeth and snorting.

Immediatly I shouted on the Almighty Name of Jesus Christ and the deep black drakness in the room whent away in an instant and peace, like I've never known fell upon me, wrapping me up like a blacket would. Jesus's precence was there, I felt Him and I praised His Name and thanked Him for being there for me - always. I slept like a baby after that.

Now I believe it will never come back again, for it knows now that I call upon my Shepherd the moment I spot them. But now I keep getting these dreams over and over. My husband woke me last night out of one of these terrible dreams. Some times I overcome them by the Name of Jesus Christ but other times my tongue gets frozen, I can't seem to speak a word to them and then I try so hard to speak Jesus's Name and rebuke them I make lost of noises while my husband is next to me, so he always wakes me, because he knows by now whats cooking.

But I believe that Jesus is walking a path with me, I will trust in Him, for He is the good Shepherd, and I know no other voice to follow. He will deliver me from the dreams, and all things work for the good of those that love Him and oh how I love HIM. So even the "not so nice things" at the end of the day turn out good and for the glory of His Name.

Jesus walked an amzing path with you my brother, praise His Name and bless Him for He is a faithfull and diligent God. Oh how happy I am, my heart overflows with joy that He is our God and not someone sitting around and watching us with a stick to wack us everytime we make a mistake. There is only one God and none other like Him. Our Father likes to get His hands durty on our troubles and battles, He not a onlooker, He's a doer of His Almighty Word and in all places of the universe, He decides to live inside you and me - I don't know, but I stand in awe, my jaw litterly dromps to the ground, and I'm speechless...

Hi sheep, glad you could decipher it! I was thinking of trying the quotes wrap around thing again here, but I think 1 "masterpiece" is enough!

Yes! Jesus is the Lion of Judah and satan is a roaring kitten.
And I know the evil one can be scary at times, he tried to scare me a couple times yesterday, doing the same thing to me that he's been doing. I wasn't scared but I admit I was frustrated and had a bit of anxiety. But I'm much better now. Our Shepherd loves His sheep and will never let the big bad wolf (or the roaring kitten) harm any of them. Praise Jesus!

Wow, that's really something you saw, 3 angry dog heads in your room! I've never experienced anything like that. Praise God for the power He has given you and all of us to defeat the enemy!

Quick prayer for you :

Father when sheep's tongue gets frozen in the midst of doing spiritual battle, I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who has overcome the world, that if it is your will, you free her tongue up so that she can say all the things that you put on her mind to say in the heat of the battle.
I also praise you Lord, that even if she can't speak you already know everything she wants to say and you are hearing her cries. Bless her for her faithfulness and give her more strength each day to carry and use your spiritual armor. Your yoke is light, Lord, carry her burdens as faithfully as you carried your cross to the hill of Golgotha for all of us. You are faithful and true Lord, so I lift her up to you to hold closely to your side. Thank you for always making a way for us when we are in despair and for answering our prayers. In Jesus name, amen!
