BEHOLD, I STAND AT THE DOOR AND KNOCK
. IF ANY- ONE HEARS MY VOICE AND OPENS THE DOOR, I WILL
COME IN TO HIM AND DINE WITH HIM, AND HE WITH ME.
( REVELATION 3:20 *NKJV )

Jesus' is knocking on the door of our heart every time that
we feel moved to go to Church, or to study the Word of God etc.
For when Jesus knocks we automatically sense that we should
turn to Him.

Now when we open the door of our hearts to Him, He
promises, I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART AND PUT MY
SPIRIT WITHIN YOU; I WILL TAKE THE HEART OF STONE
OUT OF YOUR FLESH, AND GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH.
( EZEKIEL 36:26 )

So don't let problems stop you from opening the door
of your heart all the way, and always keep it open! For then
you will never miss Jesus when He knocks: AND LET THE
PEACE OF GOD RULE IN YOUR HEART, TO WHICH ALSO
YOU WERE CALLED IN ONE BODY; AND BE THANKFUL.
( COLOSSIANS 3:15 )

In closing, may: THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS
CHRIST, AND THE LOVE OF GOD, AND THE COMMUNION
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BE WITH YOU my friend! AMEN.

In HIS Love & Service,
Pastor Allen

Who's home is it? If it remains your home and self remains in control then I can understand why Jesus would knock before entering on a return visit. But if it is His home is there any need for Him to knock? Guess the real question is whether Jesus is an occupant or visitor?

Visitor or Occupant

Jesus is the owner, really, but the tenant (that would be me) is not always that great at keeping things in order.

Are you saying that Jesus is the landlord? Doesn't He reside in your heart?
I found out some time back that I am unable to keep myself and trust Jesus for that too. As far as keeping things in order, well that too belongs to HolySpirit.

Paying Rent...

Well, Jiggy, YOU MAKE A GOOD POINT. For large parts of my life I suppose He was forced to be just a landlord.
At the moment He is the owner. He lives here. His stuff is in every room. His pictures are on the walls. His blood is everywhere, hopefully PERMANENTLY altering the carpets, the furniture and the color of the walls, everywhere, and I happily roll around in it, covering myself with it from head to toe, to the disgust of some people who cannot understand why I would do such a thing.
But this is because they dont know His blood. The smell of His blood is like honey and vanilla and the most fragrant flowers of His creation. It's all over me. He is all I have to live from. Without HIM THERE IS NO HOUSE.

Getting carried away again. I'm going to regret posting this...arent I...
