Matthew 18:3 And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

I'm having some trouble understanding this. Does this mean a childlike faith?

Tea4me doesn't sound like you are confused to me that is exactly what the verse means.

"Jesus said unto him, 'If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.'" Mark 9:23
All little boys think their dads can do anything, will we have an Heavenly Father who can really do anything.

Children tend to run to their Daddies for protection, advise, comfort, love, needs, wants, laughter, playing, happiness, etc, even when that same Daddy spanks them too. If we treated our heavenly Father like this we would all be in a much nicer world!

One of the genuine personality of children are having the great deal of TRUST and FAITH... with their parents or those that have took care of them. They believe anything that they say and trust them with all their heart. As a child being born-again in Christ, this means we have to give our full trust to Him. A faith that doesnt have even an inch of doubt.

Children tend to take things as fact with little evidence needed.
Adult Christians need to take God & His Word this way.

Greetings in Jesus name,

ah, little children, what shall we do? Rejoice and enjoy the Love we have in Him Who loves us so.

Perhaps shine in the comfort of His Love, or maybe want to play, to fellowship in His Love with other children, and then there is an eagerness for food, for drink, for all things sweet and lovely of good report.....

mmmmmmm ... little children, shall we sing and dance without inhibition, shall we tell of the wonder of His Love and with excitement and sure conviction tell it just as it is?

Beloved, except ye become as little children... you miss all the beautiful fruits of Life, in Christ, our beloved glorious King.

Bless you ....><>

ps... my daddy is the BEST Father of all! He ever loves me, no matter even if I don't always get it right, He is patient and kind, and reassures me, picks me up when I fall, and I trust Him with my life.... I love my Papa, Abba Father.
