Amen to that SLE. That is SO, SO true but many christians are seemingly content to not be that empowered.
The Holy Spirit is the key and the answer to living a bold and victorious life every day. Somehow, we (not everyone of course) get very comfortable and apathetic not laying hold of this. I believe that apathy is rooted in fear but it leaves us weak and makes the enemy of our soul very happy that we're essentially helpless to do spiritual warfare that will rock his evil empire to its very foundation, every second of every minute of every hour. That'll show him!
We are after all, in God's army with Jesus as our bold, fearless Captain. But I believe that too often, we as christians allow our fear of Satan and his machinations to occlude and overtake our love for God.
We've been asleep for far too long and it's time to wake up! The kingdom of God is at hand and we need to be going about the business of our Father.
We need to pursue and overtake our enemy (there's only one) taking back all that has been stolen and taken from us and do our part in establishing God's kingdom here on earth in readiness for the coming back of our beloved, precious Lord, Jesus.
