We often find ourselves to busy to stop and say a prayer
when we have a rough day. In this life everything seems like
it has to be accomplished A.S.A.P. So we often forget to
speak to God in prayer about it before we react.

Therefore one must remember that; THE PRAYER OF A
RIGHTEOUS MAN IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE!.
( JAMES 5:16 *NIV ) More powerful and more effective than
anything else on this Earth, even when we must react
As Soon As Possible.

Now, have you ever wondered about the
abbreviation A.S.A.P.? Generally we think of it in terms
of even more hurry and stress in our lives. Maybe if we
think of this abbreviation in a different manner, we will
begin to find a new way to deal with those rough days
along the way...

So when.......
There's work to do, deadlines to meet;
You've got no time to spare,
But as you hurry and scurry-
ASAP - ALWAYS SAY A PRAYER

In the midst of family chaos,
"Quality time" is rare.
Do your best; let God do the rest-

The problem people usually have with this subject is that they expect God to respond with what they think is the best answer. In reality, what they think the best answer is often not the best answer.

We have to have faith that whatever God's response is in such situations is the best answer, whether we understand it or not.

Thank you for this encouraging post, thing is, sometimes God seems to take a very long time to answer a prayer or make us understand why our prayers must not be answered, sometimes it takes years and I feel my life is being wasted while I stay and wonder why.

If your life is being wasted, maybe you need to look at your spiritual motives. You may be trying to be in charge of your life in some areas instead of surrendering to the Lord 100%. We who live in the more advanced countries with fast acting consumer products at our disposal tend to be impatient in all things because we ware used to having these things and they do act very quickly.God sees a much bigger picture than our convenience.

I suggest you study Jas 1:2-5.
