I often hear, " you must obey God", you must do the will of the Lord", " you must keep his commandments" ; you must be faithful to the end" .
If you are like me, you have this calling and the urge to do these things but, if you are also like me, your not so good at it all the time.
So, it is good, holy and righteous to know and desire God's will and we need to stay after it because it surely must please God. But, what is even more important is that Jesus does know God's will and he obeys it perfectly all the time, 24/7.
John 6 : 39-40 Jesus said:
39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
