Are there standards for Moderation

Do moderators just arbitrarily and subjectively delete posts without any feedback or warning? Or is some sort of exchange required from any moderator that decides a post is inappropriate?

That being said, what exactly are the policies and where can they be found regarding your censoring? NOT the rules about participation and posts, but specifically the requirements and policy that dictate moderation.

The reason I ask is that if anyone has taken time and effort in a sincere way to get feedback on a topic by posting and that post simply disappears it seems extremely inconsiderate if there is no exchange that will help to validate the censorship.

Dear @Free2luvuinJC
Are there written policies concerning how Staff's do's & don'ts and how too's? Not that I'm aware of. I'll ask Administrator @Chad to look in on this and provide further guidance for you.

As in most things involving even those in authority. The deletion of postings and threads are attempted to be done in an objective fashion without combative open forum discussion that usually ensues when this happens.

Personally, I will provide a quick answer to why I delete a particular post or thread to the person affected. This is an option we as Staff have as Moderators. Whether everyone takes advantage of this option all the time, apparently by your posting that answer would be no. Apologies if this has upset you.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Moderators along with Admin work as a united team.

In investigating I see one of your posts was deleted by Admin due to its subject matter and content. This decision is not up for discussion with yourself as a member.

Usually a deletion is accompanied by an explanatory pm.
