Anyone else in a financial crisis?

lol. I am. I have about... $5.26 to my name right now and I get paid on Friday of NEXT week. lol. And that check is going to rent. But I donated to TBN because I believe in what they are doing, and I asked God to bless that seed. Guess all I can do now is pray, have faith, and wait patiently. But more prayer would be great! Would you guys pray that I have enough money to help me survive? I don't have any food and I'm kinda hungry, and I'm almost out of gas. lol. Help me by praying please. And bless you either way.

I understand what you are going through. I lost one of my jobs, the one that paid the most and with the economy and jobs being so tight right now it's hard to find anything. Thank God one of my neighbors is a tiny old lady who loves to cook way to much, God bless her heart!

Aww you guys are wonderful! <3:embarasse I still have my job thankfully, but it's tough to get hours right now. Even though Target's business is going well, they are cutting our hours like crazy. I can't pay rent with a paycheck for only 30 hours, and go to school! lol. IT seems like when I consider applying for a second job, that something is barring me from doing so. And then when I apply anyway (keep in mind I have a good work ethic so my job app is pretty awesome lol) I never hear anything back. And I get the feeling that I'm not suppose to. But then my mom is like "Well find a new job or something." Thinking that I am just too lazy. *sigh* I love her though. lol. Anyway, something I heard on TBN was rather comforting. A preacher said "God is your provider." And he's right. Then again Paul encouraged to work to earn your food. So maybe, show God you are willing to work. Just cause it's right... honor him in all that you do.. and he'll do the rest? Wow, that's a lot of faith. I know he's real, but for some reason it's hard for me to maintain faith. It's not that I doubt he CAN do it... It's more of WILL he do it? But God honors his promises... so the answer is YES! OF COURSE HE WILL! But still, doubt loves to hang around. lol. Eventually though, I'd like to be able to move mountains.. LITERALLY! lol. I could be like an "X-MEN" and dress like a super hero... AH! There goes my artsy side. lol. Sorry everyone. Good night. Oh wow that must be hard. My bosses annoy me sometimes but they aren't that bad. I hope things get better. I've been learning that as well. As I thank God for things I start feeling much better.

Financial Crisis

Hi, I just signed on here and read your post .. and my heart does not have to go too far out to you since we are both in the same boat, but maybe this will help: Apply for foodstamps, I did and was approved very quickly and I get $200 per month since February 2009 which is great and helps me alot. Had I not done that, I would be flatter broke then I am headed for .. hope that helps Keen

I remember the days of Ramon Noddles but then I did'nt pay my water bill and well, they were not as tasty dry. I sent both my boys through college on those tasty morsels.

God knows your plight and He may be waiting for you to make some decisions in your life, think about what those may be. And, I'm sure He would'nt want you to starve because of TBN...maybe they can wait until you get back on your feet, or something in your stomach.

Decisions? yes, well I have already made them and have been pursuing to find work for 2 years and counting, but I have had no luck so far, none, partially because I am in an "undesirable" age group and nobody wants to hire me for that reason ... I do stand on the promises of God that he is my provider, he has so far never left me ... but staying faithful with a rapidly declining bank balance and no job in view is tuff ... is it that for everyone ? ... I am praying for you. have you tried calling your local salvation army? they have the means to help you with food, rent and even gas and utilities. I tell this to everyone i can. we donate to them and work with them on a regular basis. they can help you, please look them up.

Erm... did I miss something? I wasn't offended silly. lol. Why would I be offended by what you said? I wasn't trying to be sassy or imply offense. Jesus really is pretty funny. Obviously he's smart, but when you really read his responses it's like he's saying "duh! Haven't I explained this already?" And don't pray for patience unless you are absolutely ready for the trials. Some of the trials are like God laughing and saying "How do you like them apples?" lol. I'm sure that's not really what he says though. But I can't help but laugh when someone I obviously get annoyed with heightens their annoyance levelx10 that same week I ask for patience lol. I really was just agreeing. I am sorry to have given you the impression that I was offended. And I love food, hence I'm always hungry. Domo-kun is a popular character in Japan.
