Any studies of the Book of Job here?

Consider Job's words in the midst of his tragic circumstances about how he would like to reason it all out with God supposedly to get God to change His mind!
"Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.
Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.
There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge." Job 23:3-7
Toward the end of the Book God answers Job with a long discourse beginning with here...
"Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding." Job 38:1-4
Finally, after 2 chapters of the Lord speaking to Job, Job is allowed to answer...
"Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further." Job 40:3-5
Job has changed his tune before almighty God. He realizes that compared to God he understands nothing at all!

Does the Bible say that he did? Does God say that he did?

Was God speaking through the mouth of Elihu? If so was not Elihu speaking to the three other friends as well as Job? Chapter 37 consists apparently of the final words of Elihu, if you would discount those as being God speaking. Chapter 38 opens with...
"Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said..."
Then again see the following...
"And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou?..." Job 1:7

Ask yourself: How does God usually talk to people? Are preachers or Bible teachers ever anointed? What does that mean other than what they are saying is coming from God rather than the 'old man' of flesh alone? Our flesh has a lot to say, but if we are eating properly (scripture is good food), will not the Holy Spirit in us bring to Life what we have eaten in order to share at the proper time (God's time)? God can and often does use people to speak His Word to other people. I believe Elihu was an available vessel being used by God. Is everything he said 'of God'?
Don't jump to conclusions too fast. Reading and studying scripture, we will too often want to support our own currently held beliefs or those of our parents or of our ministers. Any or all of those may be right, but they may also be in error. God is never in error.
Remember that there are thousands of different church groups often with beliefs based on the same Bible with conflicting doctrines. It is not the Holy Spirit that is in conflict. People tend to filter their new ideas through the ones already in their heads or hearts. This is man's way still trying to keep or to re-take the dominion in us. The only voice we want to be hearing and obeying is God's, but in fact there are other voices talking to us. We must continuously ask the Lord to help us to recognize His voice...

did Elihu accuse Job of anything? Was Elihu and/or the other companions speaking what pleased God?

Even if all four of the others were wrong in any measure that doesn't make Job right. Job a righteous good man as stated in the beginning of the book:
"There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil." Job 1:1
Even a righteous man can have faults or weaknesses. Job was moved along a pathway that exposed his. The purpose was not to show him up as a bad men, but to make him a better man. Job did lose 10 children. He did have more children, but anyone who has had children knows that a new child will not replace one who has been lost. Job learned lessons that can prove profitable to all of us. An important one is that this natural life is not as important as the end of the matter. Consider Stephen who died under the thrown stones of his accusers. Did he have hold of something better than anything this carnal life held?

The problem with Job's three friends is that they presumed that he had done something wrong to deserve the things that were happening to him. People today, (too often people in churches) frequently jump to similar conclusions. None of us has never sinned. We all have.
When someone is down, whatever the reason, the best thing we can do is somehow encourage them. Even if they have done something wrong how is running them down going to help?
"Then Job answered and said,
I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all." Job 16:1-2
Job wanted a friend in his time of trouble, but there was none...

When I first started reading the Bible, Job was one of the hardest books for me to get through. Now, I look forward to reading it each time and the Lord continues to shows me new things, new to me anyway. All of us need to be growing continuously. Not to grow toward God is to die spiritually. We all started out there, lest us not moved backward. Give God the glory!

Take it slow and try to talk to God as you move along the way. He will help you if you trust Him.
When I started reading Job chapter I was confused and pondering at this Job 1:6-12
6. Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before The Lord and satan also came among them.
7. And The Lord said to satan, "from where do you come?" So satan answered The Lord and said, "from going to and fro on the earth and from walking back and forth on it."
8. Then The Lord said to satan, "have you considered my servant job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?"
9. So satan answered The Lord and said does job fear God for nothing?
10. Have you not made a hedge around him,around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
11. "But now, stretch out your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!"
12. And The Lord said to satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a Hand on his person." So satan went out from the presence of The Lord.
In God's presence satan appeared and God asking satan have you considered my servant job. I was thinking about this and I asked one of my friend about this and she told that all I know is that without God's permission satan cannot do any thing. God remove his hand from job and then only satan could attack job. God taught me a new lesson and increased my faith in him. Correct me if there is any wrong.
If God is for us all things are possible, enemy cannot defeat us.
