I am always hungry for God's Word! I used to be hungry for other things, but many of them have died off. The more time I spend in His Word, the more I hunger for it. God's Word has changed me in so many ways. His Word is still changing me. I still love pizza! And sometimes I hunger for it, but not like I hunger for God's Word. I have come to understand that this hunger for God's Word is a super-natural experience. The Bible contains super-natural power, because God's Word is alive! The living Word of God is living in my heart . This new heart God has given me yearns for more. My heart has to be fed with God's Word in order to have victory over the flesh, the world, and Satan. God knows I need to nourish my heart with His Word to protect me and keep me strong from the fiery darts that will surely come my way.
Some areas in my life that used to bother me, don't anymore. I didn't do that, God did! The more of these little changes I see in my life, the more hungrier I become for God's Word. The more His Word changes me, the more peace and joy I experience. God wants me to be holy. For the Scriptures say, "You must be holy because I am holy."-1 Peter 1:16
Every day I ask God to teach me something new, to give me more wisdom, to show me His character. I ask, He gives, I receive. Brothers and sisters in Christ, those of you who are experiencing this amazing transformation understand what I'm talking about. I opened the Bible and God's Word showed me a life I never knew existed. I will always be hungry for God's Word. God bless you!
